Premium Review Cadbury Crunchie Blast: What a blast - but where's the honeycomb? (519 words)

I love that Friday feeling and always have, Crunchie's have been a long lasting love, I love the honeycomb, the chocolate. Whilst recently in Sainsbury's on my lunch break, I noticed in the ice cream section a box that looked awfully like the Crunchie ice creams I used to live on. However on closer inspection I found it was in fact a different kind of Cabury Crunchie ice cream. It was the Crunchie Blast. I must admit I didn't even look at what it was, I picked up the box and put it in the basket. They cost £2.35 in Sainsbury's and can be found in most frozen ice cream sections of supermarkets for around a similar price. When I got home I discovered ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I'm still not sure about this one! (520 words)

We have friends over to eat quite a lot. I don't tend to get a pudding in because they eat quite healthily and we try to only eat rubbish one day a week. A few weeks a go everyone fancied something after the meal so the men went to the shops and came back with these. I was a bit diapointed to be honest because I quite fancied a proper chocolate bar. For those you who don't know a Crunchie blast is a ice cream based bar which looks exactly like a crunchie only it's slightly bigger. Inside the Cadbury's chocolate is vanilla ice cream and small chunks of honeycomb. When you bite the top off of the Crunchie there is a satisfying crunch and your teeth ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Crunchie Blast: Tasty but unhealthy. (334 words)
by - written on 27/05/09 (Very useful, 12 readings)

Crunchie Blast is a honeycomb flavoured lolly, based on the Crunchie bar. The chocolate covering the ice cream contains some nice popping candy, similar to the ones used in old fashioned candy. The packaging is very nice and it keeps the ice cream fresh. I have always had a good quality product, but the thin pack means that it can sometimes be broken, or the chocolate smashed. However, it is slightly misleading, with the pieces of honeycomb on the picture a lot smaller in real life. After unwrapping the product, you get a large sized ice cream on a small stick. This can sometimes be too small, with my fingers sometimes making the bottom of the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I'm back, and I have Crunchie Blasts!! (375 words)

I'm back! I've taken a long break from dooyoo, mainly to concentrate on other things, but here I am again, if any of you remember me! You'd be forgiven for thinking that a Crunchie Blast was a rather chunky chocolate bar from the picture, but it's actually an ice cream bar on a stick. It's quite a bit wider than your average Crunchie bar, and definitely more leaning on the lolly side. I wasn't sure what to expect - from the outside, it looks a lot like a Feast, and I assumed it would just be plain chocolate. However, once biting in, I was pleasantly surprised. The bubbly coating actually contains bits of Crunchie, but instead of tasting ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Crunchie Blast: just TOO nice I'm afraid! (461 words)

I think these delicious Crunchie Blasts retail for £2 for 3 in Sainsbury's but hubby made the big mistake of buying a box of 12 for us from Costco. I'm saying 'big mistake' as they're doing my diet no good at all as they taste fantastic & once you've had one.... Each 100g chocolate ice cream bar is beautifully wrapped in a heat-sealed foil wrapper & displays the unmistakeable Cadbury logo, a yummy picture of a half-eaten one plus Crunchie Blast displayed so there's no doubt about what you'll be buying. The product is described as 'honeycomb flavour ice cream covered in milk chocolate with popping candy' & this is exactly as I would state ...  Read the complete review
