Advantages: Wonderful honeycomb centre

Disadvantages: None

I treated myself to one of these this morning so to take some of the guilt away I thought I would write a review.

First the bad part: there are 180 calories in the standard size cruchie, so its on a par with most chocolate bars.

Now the good part: Crunchies are unique in my opinion. They are a honeycomb toffee - I think my Mum used to tell me it was similar to the cinder toffee she used to have as a child-encased in a wonderfully thick layer of cadbury's chocolate.

When you bite off a part of the bar it usually breaks quite evenly and then the honeycomb just melts in your mouth in a gorgeous way. They are not too sickly in the way that a mars bar or a twix can sometimes be because the sweetness in the honeycomb isn't too overpowering.

I can advise that they go together with a cup of coffe wonderfully especially at about 11:00 on a wenesday morning in May!!

Summary: A great chocolate bar

I've always loved these, and they're not too fattening either!
