Advantages: Great texture, tasty!

Disadvantages: Very sweet and maybe a littel sickly

I've never really have too many Crunchies in my time, I've usually always opted for Malteasers or twirls, but I decided to be a dare devil when I was browsing the chocolate bars in Tesco and went for one! They can usually be found in your local Supermarket for a price around the 50p mark, usually a few pence more.

It comes in a golden foil wrapper with 'Crunchie' written in red writing, and the Cadburys logo above it. It also has the number of calories in one bar written in the bottom right of the wrapper (just to make you feel guilty buying it!), and the back has the full nutritional values per bar written.

When you open the wrapper you should be greeting with a nice chunk of Cadburys chocolate! Once you take a bite into it the honeycomb centre is revealed, it's yellow and golden orange in colour, with the yellow being more around the edges of the centre. It also has that delicious 'Cadbury' smell, which is delicious!

The chocolates tastes lovely, as it's just Cadburys dairy milk, but it's the honeycomb centre which really makes the Crunchie - it's absolutely full of flavour. It has a wonderful 'crunchie' texture (of course!) and mixes so well with the flavour of the chocolate, but it can be a little sickly if you're not a big fan of sweet flavours. The chocolate bar altogether is quite light and doesn't really fill you up, but it makes a great snack for anyone with a sweet tooth.

185 kcal (9.3% RDA)
24.7g Sugars (27.4% RDA!)
7.6g Fat (10.9% RDA)
4.9g Saturates (24.5% RDA!)
0.28g Salt (4.7g RDA)

So it's a rather unhealthy snack really, with a very high sugar and saturate content for such a little thing! But it defiantly makes a great occasional snack, and I will defiantly be picking up more Crunchies in the future!

Overall, I'd definitely recommend getting one if you're a Cadbury fan, or like honeycomb in sweet snacks! It's a great chocolate bar!

Summary: 7/10
