... gives you the illusion that you're eating a lot of chocolate and the amount of chewing required also helps make you feel like you're eating something much bigger. The biggest advantage to these guys is their value, many times have I been into a corner shop with just a ten pence coin and managed to find one. In the age where you can put 50p on a debit card it's a bit of a blessing to have something smell that can tide you over 'til your next meal without having to do a micro-transaction or hit the ATM. Premium Review Cadbury Curly Wurly: Curly Goodness! (489 words)
by - written on 26/03/08 (Very useful, 155 readings)

Curly Wurly is a fun chocolate treat from everybody's favourite chocolate maker Cadburys. Packaging Cadbury Curly Wurly comes in a white wrapping which has some really fun colourful lettering on it that spells out the word Curly Wurly, the letters are bordered with a nice bright yellow colour which looks really great and helps the packet look even more innocent and fun! You also get a little Cadbury logo just to remind you who make it. The pack really looks like it could have been drawn by a small child as the white package is covered with little curly squiggles, to emphasize curliness; it is a Curly Wurly after all! If you turn the pack ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A Dieters Dream! (560 words)

I've been on many diets; Slimming World, Weight Watchers, Slimming Friends, Slim Fast - you name it I've been on it. All (bar Slim Fast) have advocated the humble Curly Wurly as being a decent substitute for a fat packed Dairy Milk or Flake. Step One: Replace above mentioned Dairy Milk (weighing in at around 300 cals and buckets full of fat) with a Curly Wurly which will only saddle me with 115 cals and 4.6g fat. Step Two: Sit back and relax with Curly Wurly and pretend you're a kid. Easy peasy. Curly Wurly's are part of the Cadbury Land range, seemingly specifically created for the kiddie market. Three E numbers appear on the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Curly Wurly: Not so burly wurly (215 words)
by - written on 04/02/08 (Very useful, 86 readings)

Must admit that I always feel slightly cheated by this product as I would much prefer to eat a solid piece of caramel wrapped in chocolate rather than the curly wurly which has holes in it and thus deprives me of much needed sugar and chocolate. On the plus side this does mean that it has almost a third of the calories that come with a flake or most other chocolate bars. A Curly Wurly is made by Cadbury so you get the benefit of their lovely milk chocolate and this provides the outer coat to some soft caramel cast in a long thin shape almost like interacting bits of string. It is very chewy when you bite into it but it is not too hard ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review GRAB A BAG OF SHORT AND CURLIES (877 words)

Being a chocoholic, I have found dieting very hard, especially at those times of the month when I need a chocolate fix and there isn?t one carrot stick or piece of celery that?s going to curb my cravings at all. But since embarking on my Rosemary Conley diet a couple of months ago I haven?t had to give up my love for the brown stuff completely, I am allowed a daily treat of chocolate if I should so wish and although a humungous family bar of Whole Nut isn?t mentioned anywhere on my daily allowance, Curly Wurly?s are. At the weekend, my husband had a fancy for a choccie treat so off he traipsed down to the corner shop with strict orders not to bring back a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Curly Wurly: Makes Your Hair Go Curly! (385 words)

Well I must admit I did not know these were still going! When I was a kid I used to love Curly Wurlys. They were so good and are one of those things that are legendary when your a kid. It was always a real treat for me to get one of these. Anyway I recently discovered that Curly Wurlys are still around. So have been eating rather alot of them recently! Curly Wurlys are made by Cadburys. They are milk chocolate covering a kind of chewy caramel centre. The name comes from the fact they are two lines of chocolate kind of curled or entwined with each other. A very clever little design. I like these as they are for one very tasty. I also love ...  Read the complete review
