Advantages: A perfect sized treat for small children

Disadvantages: Very very morish. You'll regret not buying a bigger bar.

I have a guilty little secret. I splurged and bought two bars of chocolate this morning. I couldn't make my mind up between a Cadburys Dairy Milk and a Nestle Milky bar and so I bought both. In my defence they were both rather small. Not that I can tell you exactly how small because the manufacturers choose not to include this particular titbit of information on the wrapper and so a bit of mental maths is called for. If the bar in question contains 110 calories and its big brother the 100g bar contains 530 calories then my toddler sized bar must weigh in at 20.7g. At 19p that makes it a far better choice than the considerably smaller 12.5g Milkybar which cost a mere tuppence less.

Unlike the bar depicted in the DooYoo guide my bar does not come foil wrapped with a paper sleeve. Instead the whole bar in vacuum packed in shiny purple foil with pictures of cholate ballooons and the Cadbury logo on the outer. Tearing open the bar reveals the Cadburys logo within and a picture of a pig (perhaps someones trying to tell me something) and a flower imprinted on the chcolate. It smelly scrummy, like a mug of steaming hot chcolate. I'm exercising self restraint to type this.

It tastes just as good as it smells. Thick creamy, chocolatey, smooth. Totally delicious with a lovely aftertaste. After five mouthfuls its gone and I'm wishing I'd bought a bigger bar (although its a great size for 2-4 year olds).

Unlike the Milkybar whose primary ingredient is sugar the Cadburys Dairy Milk bar is predominantly milk based and marginally lower in fat too.

Cadburys Dairy Milk carries a warning to sufferers of nut allergies.

Summary: A very tasty treat
