I was initially given a large 240g bar of this 'Double Choc' Cadbury's bar as a gift. The look and decription of the chocolate on the packaging certainly says 'luxury' and I think it in theory it makes for a brilliant present. I have since purchased the smaller sized bars as an occasional treat and find that the rich double chocolate blend satisfies this chocoholic's sweet tooth. This product in the Cadbury's chocolate range is desribed as milk chocolate with a soft chocolate centre. The milk chocolate casing is the conventional Cadbury's Dairy Milk, which according to the brand's promise, contains a glass and a half full of fresh milk per pound of chocolate. ... Not too many positive reviews of this chocolate which is unfortunate as its one of my favorites, but I am a total chocolate lover. I eat it when im happy, when im depressed and when im bored. Basically all the time. Galaxy is my favorite chocolate but DairyMilk is a close second. I get the 230g bar from tesco where it is 1.38. The bar is 19 cms long and 10cms wide. It is divided into squares which are inprinted with "cadburys" so you can break of the amount you need easily and the whole bar consists of 7 rows of 4 squares. You can recognise this bar from the rest of the dairymilk range as the bottom half of the front of the ... Read the complete review

Cadbury's have come up with something a bit different here, yet it is also quite familiar. The bar is in the standard Dairy Milk format being that there is six chunks per bar and the bar is about 6 inches long. Each chunk or oblong of chocolate is therefore about an inch wide half an inch high and one and a half inches long. The height is dictated by the dome shape that forms over the rectangular base. Very similar to that of a galaxy caramel or indeed a Cadbury caramel. The chocolate which covers the chunks is as per usual of the highest quality and is sweet but not too much. It is a creamy smooth consistency and the cocoa can be tasted, but then ... Read the complete review

Launched in 2007 the Cadburys Dairy Milk 'Double Choc' range is just the latest luxurious and addictively gorgeous offering from the best chocolate making business there is. The Dairy Milk part of the Cadburys empire has continued to swell over the last few years or so with a wide variety of different ideas crawling out of the woodwork and into the hearts of the nation. A 230g bar of the chocolate is disgustingly priced these days as I paid £1.65 for this from my local Tescos and I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere else unless there's an offer. However, I'd received some bad news over the bank holiday weekend so I felt that a chocolate binge was the ... Read the complete review

Cadbury plc is a company most noted for chocolate related products. Founded in 1824 by John Cadbury, it initially produced coffee and tea, although it soon branched out into chocolate. It has recently demerged from the American drinks company Schweppes, and now stands alone as Cadbury plc. Cadbury's Dairy Milk Double Choc is definitely one of those chocolate bars that is designed and geared for chocoholics. My wife likes them, and says they're lush, so I thought I would try eating one. I have to say, it was a bit sickly for me. They aren't kidding when they say double choc. It is twice the strength, with a strong and heavy chocolatey taste coming ... Read the complete review
