I love mint flavoured chocolate especially the match makers but don't often go for it because above all I love chocolate with nuts. Well over the past few weekends, I have been getting a little fed up with the same old sweets and chocolate so decided to try something new and this was my new product. For £1.60 you can buy 200g of dairy milk with mint chips catered throughout the whole bar. When you open the bar, you get a strong scent of the mint which is truly amazing and I find I can't stand their sniffing for long before I break off a chunk and pas it to my mouth who is eagerly waiting. When it hits your mouth, you have one of those moments where ... Read the complete review

Of all the great flavour combinations in the world, fish and chips, salt and vinegar, toast and jam, another one can be added to the list, chocolate and mint, a perfect combination and what could be better than lovely Dairy Milk chocolate and mint! Yum, whenever you mix mint and chocolate you are guaranteed a great taste combination and the new Dairy Milk Mint from Cadburys is no different. I am a big chocolate fan as you can probably tell from some of my reviews and I actually first tried this combination over Christmas in a mini size that was part of a selection box so I had to try a full size one as I loved the mini version so much. I had never seen a full ... Read the complete review

I really like mint chocolate so when I spotted this I had to get some. Its easy to spot the orginal Cadbury purple with a green part across the wrapper. It always makes me wonder why mint is always shown by a green colour green as usually mints are white. In this chocolate though the minty bits are actually green. The chocolate itself is what you would expect from Cadburys a very chocolatey taste that is thick and creamy and melts in your mouth. It also smells lovely to. The mint bits add a nice minty tang to it but they are not too overpowering so you can still taste the chocolate. They are a bright green colour and are quite hard and sugary. I think the best ... I don't take to plain Dairy Milk chocolate much, though I do like the options wi th the fillings, such as Turkish, Caramel and Whole Nut. The most recent I tried was the Dairy Milk Mint chocolate option. The chocolate comes in a standard purple wrapper with a green design on it. When you remove one of the five chunks, you'll notice the sweet chocolate scent. Though you cannot smell the mint. Biting into the smooth and creamy chocolate, you'll hit the small nuggets of mint, which are a deep shade of green. These are quite crunchy, you can definitely feel them in your teeth! They taste a little sugary and strong of sweet mint. I must warn; these mint ... Read the complete review

Cadbury have bought out a number of different varieties to their traditional Cadbury Milk chocolate bar and this mint version is one of these. Personally I prefer the crunchie and caramel versions as I do not think that mint and milk chocolate mix quite so well, for me mint goes much better with dark chocolate. This is a standard six bar chocolate of milk chunks however laced through the chocolate are small mint nuggetts which give the chocolate some crunch when you bite into them and a strong minty flavour. They have been quite generous with the mint nuggetts and you certainly will not find yourself only biting into chocolate unless you take the smallest of ... Read the complete review
