Advantages: Yummy taste

Disadvantages: None

Of all the great flavour combinations in the world, fish and chips, salt and vinegar, toast and jam, another one can be added to the list, chocolate and mint, a perfect combination and what could be better than lovely Dairy Milk chocolate and mint!

Yum, whenever you mix mint and chocolate you are guaranteed a great taste combination and the new Dairy Milk Mint from Cadburys is no different. I am a big chocolate fan as you can probably tell from some of my reviews and I actually first tried this combination over Christmas in a mini size that was part of a selection box so I had to try a full size one as I loved the mini version so much. I had never seen a full size one before so I was quite excited to find it and try it and make it part of my chocolate routine!

The bar itself contains 6 chunks of chocolate but in some varieties you can get eight chunks. Cadbury's dairy milk was first produced in 1905. The chocolate bar consists of squares of gorgeous Cadburys chocolate that break apart from each other. The chocolate squares are really thick so it is really nice to bite into them

Inside the squares are little flecks of mint sugar nuggets which actually to me look a bit like mint crystals. The mint portion is very crunchy and very cool and refreshing which is nice. The mint is spaced out fairly well in each piece of chocolate and there are quite a lot of the nuggets so you are guaranteed a lovely crunch with every square.

This bar is definitely a nice addition to the range though and a great tasting, good quality bar in my opinion.

The wrapping of this bar is quite distinctive and eye-catching. This one has the familiar purple colour but unlike the others, not all the way through. On the bottom part of the wrapper is the lovely light bluey green colour that you associate with a mint colour.

Cadbury has been making chocolate since 1824, when John Cadbury opened his first shop which has now grown to be one of the biggest sellers of chocolate in the world.

The great thing about Cadburys is that they use a glass and a half of fresh milk in every half pound of milk chocolate and proper cocoa beans so the chocolate itself is amazing and creamy. It definitely has a very rich taste to it and in my opinion is one of the best chocolates out there.

The nice thing about these chocolate bars is that they only have 185 calories each so if you are looking for a chocolate fix this is not as bad as some of them out there, yummy!

Mmm this sounds nice. I miss the Terry's milk chocolate bars you used to be able to get that had the mint flecks in them. Matchmakers are never quite enough! This sounds like a good compromise.
