If you have read any of my previous reviews then you will know that I like chocolate, in fact make that love chocolate and one of my favourite products is Cadbury Chocolate fingers. I only let myself buy these if they arte on some sort of offer so when I went down to do my weekly shop the other week I was disappointed to find that there was no such offer on the product however there was the Cadbury Double Chocolate fingers on a half price offer. I have never tried these chocolate fingers before as I always tend to stick with the original product however I thought to myself that double chocolate must mean double the taste etc.... The double chocolate ... Read the complete review

Scouring the shelves at Tescos a couple of weeks ago I was drawn to Cadburys fingers. They have been around for years and as a self confessed chocoholic I am quite partial to a packet. I noticed that they also do double chocolate fingers and triple chocolate fingers now so I opted for the middle of the bunch and picked up a double chocolate fingers packet to see if they were much different from the original fingers. ~The Product~ Looks wise, the double chocolate fingers are no different from the original. They are the same thin rectangular shape and are covered in a thin layer of cadburys milk chocolate as the originals are. The only real difference with ... Read the complete review

Cadbury Double Chocolate Fingers are chocolate flavoured biscuits which have been dipped in Cadbury milk chocolate. The box is rectangular in shape and is that unmistakable Cadburys puple colour. The front cover of the box shows the fingers stood to attention in a line which is starting to topple like dominoes. There is a caption on the front "one may lead to another..." I have this evening found this caption to be true! I had bought this box of double chocolate fingers as a treat at work for me and my work chums. Each day this week I have gone into the office and said "argh, I forgot to bring in the chocs again". Well, it's too ... Read the complete review

The first time I bought these was by accident because I didn't realise the change in packaging, although it may look obvious to you reading this now. These are different to regular chocolate fingers as they are...double chocolate. It was bound to happen. It's basically a chocolate finger but rather than plain old biscuit, it's "crisp chocolate flavour biscuits" covered with "yummy Cadbury Milk chocolate". Right, well - no, let us not deceive ourselves. It's just chocolate biscuit in chocolate. Double chocolate. The end. Anyway, I have to be honest, when I first bit into these, I was disgusted. The chocolate biscuit is nothing like the other ... Read the complete review

I like Cadburys Fingers but tried the Double Chocolate ones today and didn't enjoy them as much as the normal ones. The difference is that the plain biscuit is now chocolate and even though it's got a nice cocoa flavour I don't think the biscuit goes very well with the milk chocolate coating now. The biscuits are lovely and crunchy, they snap when you break one in half and don't drop a load of crumbs all over you. I think the problem is that the attraction of Fingers for me is that the plain biscuit is a wicked contrast to the creamy milk chocolate but there isn't enough of a contrast now that the biscuit is chocolate as well.
