Advantages: tasty, gorgeous textures, great packaging

Disadvantages: calorific and expensive from my works vending machine!

haven't had one of these for ages but saw it in the new vending machine at work today and couldn't resist!

So in went my 50p! I know its a ridiculous price but lazy me didn't want to walk to the nearest shop in the rain and out came my double decker, I popped it in the fridge while I ate my dinner (a pot noodle) healthy day for me!


A Double Decker is described as 'Milk chocolate with smooth, chewy nougatine and crisp, crunchy cereal filling'
They are made by the chocolate masters that are Cadburys and come in a bright orange and purple wrapper; really eyecatching colours.
The design of the wrapper hasn't really changed in years so this classic is easily recognisable.

So to the tasting... once suitably cold, I ripped open the wrapper and dipped the bar in my cup of coffee lol, I'm a messy eater!
The textures you get as you bite into it are mindblowing; the chewy nougat, the crispy cereal and the soft milk chocolate all combine to deliver a great experience, texture is really important to me when eating something I enjoy.
Inside, the bar is divided into 2 layers (hence the name double decker!) one layer is the chewy nougat with crispy bits which resemble rice crispies and the other layer is chocolate.

Double Deckers taste gorgeous the chocolate of course is great as it's Cadburys, the nougat is suitably chewy without the risk of losing a tooth and the crispy bits add a great balance.


A Double Decker bar is just a bit bigger than a Mars bar, the perfect size for my mouth.
I find them a lot more filling than most other chcolate bars on the market which is good because ten I'm not tempted to eat another.lol.


I'm not gonna dwell on the nutritional info because it won't be great news but when a girl needs chocolate, she just gotta have it!
So...Each bar contains a whopping 275 calories, 32.4g of sugar, 11.3g of fat, 5.9g of saturates and 0.1g of salt!


Double Deckers come in just one size which is 60g and are available in most supermarkets/shops and Clarks vending machines!
