Bland as a bus (Cadbury Double Decker)

I have a very sweet tooth so have tried the large majority of what's on offer out there in the world of confectionery. This is one I remembered having tried ages ago but couldn't remember whether I liked it or not so when I was buying one of those 4 for a £1 deals and this was one of the choices I picked it up, just one though in case it wasn't all that as it were. I think if you were to buy this on its own it would be about 50p to 60p roughly. This isn't around as much as Cadbury's other offerings such as Dairy Milk or Crunchie and so on so is this a hidden gem?

The packaging it comes in is quite eye catching. It uses a combination of Cadbury's traditional purple, though in a brighter shade, and a bright orange. Hafl the wrapper is one colour, the other half the other colour. There is 60 grams and 265 calories. The name is printed in white on the front. Apparently it was named after a bus because it has a different top and bottom half.

The top half is nougat. I normally quite like nougat, I certainly do in Snickers. This was an almost off-white plastic colour and was very stringy and looked and felt a bit like eating play-doh or something it was so stringy and it didn't seem to have much flavour. It felt more like a chore chewing it actually. The bottom half of the bar was better. This was little rice krispies coated in milk chocolate. This was nice enough with typically good Cadbury chocolate and the krispies were plentiful and suitably crunchy.

Unfortuantely the blandness of the nougat rather dominated this chocoalte bar for me. Were they to improve the taste of this part I may change my opinion but for now it's not one I will be buying again.
