Advantages: Very Tasty. Filling Chocolate bar. Crunchy & Chewy

Disadvantages: Can be a struggle to take a bite if you have a small mouth.

I really like Double Decker chocolate bars. In my opinion they are one of the most tasty snack bars around. I also think that they are very filling.

The Double Decker is made by Cadbury UK. It was first introduced in 1976 & it is named after a bus. The Bar is a layered snack. The upper layer consists of whipped nougat. The bottom layer consisting of cereal 'crispies'. These two layers are then coated in Cadbury's dairy milk. The bar is also lightly flavoured with coffee but I don't notice this.

In 2004 a version of the bar was realesed which contained peanuts in the nougat layer. This has since been discontinued. The standard bar also used to contain raisins in the biscuit layer although these were removed in the late 1980's due to consumer feedback.

The bar tends to weigh around 60 grams. It usually has 11.3 grams of fat, 41 grams of carbohydrates, 2.6 g of protein and 1155 kJ (275 kcal) of energy. The bar does not contain hydrogenated oil.

The bar is very tasty to eat. You have the senstation of both the biscuit crunch & the soft chewy nougat at once plus the distinct flavour of dairy milk. Over all it is a very nice chocolate bar & I recommend them.

Summary: Another classic bar from Cadbury. Give one a try.
