I am a chocolate snob. And as a chocolate snob I have to admit that there are very few chocolate brands or bars that I enjoy. I strongly dislike American chocolate, for example. And I am no fan of English chocolate either. I never understood the appeal of any Cadbury's chocolate bars. I usually buy Swiss and Belgian, the highest quality of all chocolates. It therefore comes as a big surprise to me and everyone who knows me well, that my favorite chocolate bar at the moment appears to be Cadbury Flake with Praline. This brand of chocolate joined the Cadbury's family around October 2004 as part of the 'Flake Family'. In short it is a milk chocolate which is crumbly & flaky and nestled in a rich hazelnut praline. Definately a flake worth indulging in. The original Cadbury's flake, as most people know can be either eaten on it own or added to other various things - such as ice-cream or hot chocolate. Flakes can also be used for toppings on cakes. Before the Praline came out a few other types of Flake bars; the Snowflake (which Anthea Turner shamelessly promoted at her wedding) this is a white chocolate flake - i think this is delicious however can become quite sickly. ...
