Never go shopping when you're hungry, isn't that what they say? Well the other night I was starving after a day at work, but I needed a few things from the supermarket. I made a list, thinking this might keep me on track, but alas, when I came to 'yoghurts', instead of getting Muller Lights or even a nice low-calorie (still dieting) chocolate mousse - I spied the Cadbury's Twin Pot range - on offer. Into the basket they went, one of each variety - Buttons, Dairy Milk, Flake and Wispa. It was only when I got them home and looked a little more closely that I realised just how much more calorific they are than other yoghurts. Oh well, I'd bought them so I can't waste ...  Read the complete review

Cadbury Flake Dessert Twinpot was my yoghurt of the day yesterday and after a small but delicious wrap I decided to indulge in one of these and treat myself! The dessert is provided in a purple pot which can be snapped in two so that you can lift up the section containing the Cadbury's Flake and mix these in to the thick chocolate yoghurt. This is the standard for these Cadburys products and the only difference is the label on the top of the pot which shows some Cadbury's Flake on some of the yoghurt on a spoon (yum!). The taste of the yoghurt is delicious, it's very chocolately and has that distinctive Cadburys kick to it. The Cadbury's Flake ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Flake Twinpot Dessert: smooth dessert with flaky bits (532 words)

Desserts, well I love making them (used to do it as a part time job in a restaurant to pay my way through uni) but eating them is always better. Anyway I was wondering around my local tesco express and I made the ultimate no-no of going food shopping whilst hungry (I buy more sugary stuff when I do that). While walking past the refrigerated food aisle I saw that these desserts were 4 for £2.50. Well I did mention I was a bit hungry when I was there so in the basket 4 of them went (all different types - well variety is the spice of life). So After my dinner I decided to give one of them a go. On picking out this one with Cadbury's flake I settled down and peeled back the ...  Read the complete review

Yesterday as a little treat for putting on weight at my Weight Watchers meeting (ahem!) I bought myself one of these lovely Cadbury Twinpot Desserts, I've tried quite a few of the different flavours but in Sainsbury's it was the Flake variety that called to me. I absolutely adore these desserts and often buy them for my granddaughters' when they come to visit at the weekend, recently they have been on special offer at four desserts for £2.50 although the individual price is only 67p so don't feel obliged to buy the four as you're only saving around 18p. The Twinpot consists of a large section of the pot containing the chocolate dessert and a smaller ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Flake Twinpot Dessert: Cadbury dessert. (265 words)

Chocolate desserts in plastic pots do not really do it for me but when they are made by Cadbury it is a different story. The Cadbury twinpot desserts are very nice and my favourite is without doubt the flake version. What you get with a Cadbury flake twinpot dessert is a pot of chocolate dessert which is very nice and just the right consistency, not too runny but not thick and lumpy. Attached to this is a second pot this time filled with flake pieces. The idea of the dessert is that you tip the flake pieces into the chocolate dessert and create a dessert with serious big chunks of Cadbury chocolate. Being that these are kept refrigerated ...  Read the complete review
