I really, really love chocolate and sweets- and always like to have a little of something sweet after a meal. I don't want to get fat though, so have been trying some low fat alternatives lately which will satisfy my sweet tooth without piling on the pounds.

One of my favourite's at the moment is a Fry's Turkish Delight.

*PRICE AND AVAILABILITY*

Lately I have been noticing that these are available from lots of places. I usually get mine from the newsagents where they are placed with all the other chocolate bars. I have also seen them for sale in off licence's, supermarkets, garages etc.

The price can range from 50p to 70p depending on where you buy it from.

*PACKAGING*

The wrapper is a lovely bright and shiny purple colour which is very eye catching and distinguishable. It features the name, and also a statement ' full of eastern promise' which makes the bar seem more exotic.

*NUTRITION*

Eating one of these lovely little bars will give you 185 calories - that's a few less than a lot of other chocolate bars.
The fat content is really low at only 3.6 grams per bar - so I can happily munch one of these on my low fat diet.

*TASTE*

On opening the wrapper you will find a square piece of turkish delight, covered in chocolate.
The texture is lovely as you first bite the crunchy chocolate and then the softer turkish delight.
The chocolate tastes like chocolate should- and the middle tastes slight sweet and flowery.

*MY VERDICT*

I love these bars as they are very delicious as well as being low in fat, however I would still eat them if there weren't low fat.

The price is quite reasonable for a tasty afternoon treat so give one a taste today.
