Cadbury Heroes

Description: Cadbury Heroes: A mix of Cadbury Bars.

The chocolates are just as high quality as you'd get from a full sized Cadbury bar, and the chocolate is just smooth and creamy. Apart from the Bournville of course, which is smooth but most certainly not creamy, it's dark chocolate perfection as fr as I'm concerned, not bitter, and not sweet. Unlike some dark chocolate producers who seem to th...more

Well it's that time of year again and so I shall start by wishing you all the compliments of the season and I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and all you wish for in 2008. In our house we do love some nice chocolate at Christmas and to us nice chocolate has to be Cadbury's and my husband's favourite is Cadbury's Heroes so there is a nice big tin of those on the coffee table. We paid £5.99 for ours which is a 1kg tin, but you can get these in 1.5kg tins and in cardboard tubs too. They are often on special offer during the year but are always on offer at Christmas to tempt us all! I will just say at this point that it is a great test ...  Read the complete review

Have you ever had a craving for something sweet and tasty, but not sure what? Ever been at the shop counter, unable to decide which chocolatey treat to purchase? Well, that's when Cadbury's Minachure Heroes come in! So much choice in one little box! ***** The packaging is, of course, the first thing you see when browing this fine selection, so it is important that it comes across as appealing! Thankfully, the ravishing purple cardboard box fits its purpose! On the front of this rectangular box, you can see pictures of all the tempting chocolates stored inside - luring you closer in... ***** The contents of this box is quite varied, with at ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Heroes: Tasty Little Heroes! (912 words)

In my opinion, Cadbury's Heroes are one of the best assortments of sweeties around. For a start, I am a big chocolate fan and my preference has always been Cadbury's, closely followed by Galaxy. Cadbury's chocolate is sweet and creamy yet not too sickly as Galaxy can tend to be after a while of munching! The chocolate is also smooth and melts nicely in your mouth. Heroes were first launched in the United Kingdom in September 1999 and have been extremely popular since. You can purchase Heroes in either a tin which weighs 1kg and costs roughly £9.99 or tub which weigh 285g, 480g and 2.5kg as well. Obviously the price depends on size and where you buy the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mighty Mini Choccy Heroes (479 words)

I prefer being able to have just the odd bits of food here and there to snack on, so small chunks of chocolate heaven are more tempting to me than a regular chocolate bar. The only downside to a lot of the variety boxes/tubs of choccies is that there's always at least one flavour that gets neglected because they're unloved, but Heroes always seem to get finished off until the last one has been eaten. Heroes, previously called Miniature Heroes', are produced by Cadbury's, one of the most popular confectionary companies with years of knowledge in producing good quality products. These were first introduced 10 years ago (1999) to fight a battle with ...  Read the complete review

Well I've been feeling a bit down this week with all the packing up of my son's things for Uni (his room looks so EMPTY and TIDY!) thought I would treat us to a tin of Cadbury's Heroes as they are back in stock ,for Xmas I expect! Last week I saw Advent Calenders for sale!!! Well we all love the chocolates in these tins as there are many favourites in mini form from the much loved bigger bars in the shops. Well could things get worse they sure could, they have removed the Picnic and Crunchie bars and replaced with can you believe it a Chocolate Eclair and Bournville bar! Maybe the Bournville bar isn't to bad but a CHOCOLATE ECLAIR thats not even a ...  Read the complete review
