Advantages: Good quality chocolate

Disadvantages: Not very decorative

I love putting chocolate christmas decorations on the tree and taking them off every now and again over the festive season for a treat. We took our tree down today and it was lovely using up the few that were left - made a sad task so much happier! Over the years we have tried all sorts of decorations. I do like these Magic of Christmas tree decorations from Cadburys, mainly because it is Cadburys chocolate. Although in my opinion Cadbury's chocolate is not as delicious as some people make out and I do not particularly like to have a bar of dairy milk, when it comes to Christmas tree decorations, there are some seriously disgusting chocolates out there so something tried and tested and reassuringly familiar like Cadbury's is a good bet.

They are square in shape and quite thick - not nearly as thick as a piece of dairy milk but not really thin like you would expect from tree decorations. I would say they are the perfect thickness.

Each decoration has a Christmas picture on it, such as holly, a christmas tree, a snowman, a stocking or a father christmas face.

The only downside and for me it is a pretty big downside is the shape of these decorations and their colour. Although I like purple, in this context, they just look like advertising for Cadbury's. Purple is not a particularly christmas colour. I would prefer them to be red so that they blended better with the decorations and would then be more of a surprise treat. They look a bit like chocolates on the tree. Basically they don't go with my colour scheme!

Also, they are square, which again is not very christmasy. I prefer tree decorations that are in shapes of snowmen or even better, round like baubles, so that they blend in on the tree and you get a surprise every now and again when you remember they are chocolates and you get to eat one.

Summary: Ok.
