You will see the raisins and peanuts and the caramel. Price? Around 49 pence for the standard sized picnic bar. About the Taste? Very chewy and lots of flavours going on all at once, the crunchy nuts and the soft chewy caramel mixed with the raisins make for a really great tasting bar. Oh I hadnt had one of these in ages! But then when I was checking the kitchen this morning for something to eat I found my mom had brought a pack of three Picnic's for me and my brother, so I had to get down to eating one right away! If Im honest they werent as nice as I remember and even though I would eat/buy them again they are by no means my favourite chocolate! So Whats In A Picnic Bar: Well as it is a chocolate bar you may have guessed yes it does contain chocolate (suprising I know hehe). Inside the chocolate are nuts and raisins which are all held together with very sticky caramel. So as you can imagine this bar is very sweet and sugary perfect ...  Read the complete review

Munching my way through chocolates bars I don't usually have has lead me to a Picnic in a pretty little park with some bears and some white fluffy clouds with a wonderful sunshine and a gorgeous landscape that would rival any fairy tal...oh ok no I'm sat in my bed room feeling every so slightly let down as the wind hurls around my house whistling and I realise I was in a day dream. Though I do have a Picnic which I genuinely haven't tried before. The bar comes in a plastic wrapper with a purple background and white letter in the foreground with a peanut and raisin explosion between the fore and back to try and make the bar look both alive and yet also like a ...  Read the complete review

It struck me today that one bar of chocolate I've never tried is a Picnic bar! I don't know why I've never tried it but it simply has never appealed and I don't know whether it's due to it's packaging or it's name or what but today I decided to take the plunge and have a Picnic! The Packaging.... Purple plastic long wrapper with large white writing on the front telling me it is Cadbury Picnic 'Packed With Peanuts And Raisins' and there is a picture of nuts and fruits on there. On the back of the wrapper (now all in gold writing)I'm given a list of ingredients and given allergy advice, nutritional information is all given, contact details for ...  Read the complete review

The Cadburys Picnic is a rather odd bar of chocolate that I often forget about. The other day I saw it on the shelf down my local Spar and decided that it was definately time to remember it again. The Picnic is made my Cadburys and consists of caramel, peanuts, cereal, raisins and it's covered in the amazing Cadburys chocolate. The bars come in a 48g bar and they will cost you around 50p. I've seen them in most shops, petrol stations and supermarkets so they are widely available. To me the Picnic is an odd one. It looks like it has been thrown together in a big rush; there are knobbly bits poking out all over the place. It's actually very similar ...  Read the complete review

Here I have in front of me a cup of coffee and a chocolate bar. Now, I know that a chocolate bar is not the healthiest of breakfasts, but it's what I have. You see, a few days ago, I came into possession of a four pack of CADBURY'S PICNIC BARS for the very reasonable price of 99p for the four (I know it's 99p, because that fact is splashed all down the right hand side of the four-pack). "I'll try one," thought I. Well, my little Picnic was very nice indeed, so I bought some more. Anyway, moving swiftly on to... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE BAR - The ...  Read the complete review
