Advantages: Lots of tastes and textures.

Disadvantages: They should make a King Size bar!

I love Cadbury Picnic. It really is one of the best there is. When faced with an array of various chocolate bars in a store, I always look for this one, and am quite upset if the store doesn't sell it!

Why is this bar so special?

It is crunchy (peanut), chewy (caramel), crispy (puffed rice) fruity (raisins). And all covered in delicious Cadbury Milk Chocolate. So many tastes and textures. They all taste so good when combined with each other.

The shape is a little untidy, all lumps and bumps, but the taste makes up for that!

How was this confectionary born?

Picnic was first created in 1958 by Fry's, but now made by Cadbury, who also make Fry's Turkish Delight. It is good that Cadbury are continuing to make these ‘older’ chocolate bars, as well as developing new ones. We would never get to experience joys such as Picnic otherwise!

It is aimed at busy people, as it is quite filling, and the ingredients are good energy sources, although with a few calories at the same time!!

Price guide.

The Cadbury Picnic can be purchased at around 40p from most confectionary retailers, and the price is good value for a tasty and filling chocolate bar.

Summary: With all that filling and taste, it's quite an adventure of a chocolate bar!
