Wonderful ice cold Bournville chocolate - I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy the odd bar of this. Sadly the next mouthful was a great big let down. The icecream hidden beneath the layer of wonderfullness was pretty awful. There was none of the smooth rich creamy texture or taste I was expecting, more of tiny frozen particles (yes, I know that is what icecream is all about) of nothingness. T...more

At our local park yesterday I felt the need for an icecream - as I always do!! Popping over to the Icecream van in search for a dark chocolate Magnum I was dissapointed to see that it was all Cadburys products!! having not tried the Bournville on a stick before I decided that this must be the next best thing. I paid the shop assistant £1.00p quite expensive I thought. Outside the shop I opened the plastic foil wrapper and exposed the ice-lolly, it is really a choc-ice on a stick. The ice cream is lozenge shaped with rounded edges. I take my first bite and get the lovely ...  Read the complete review
