I wonder who invented chocolate in the first place? And whether or not they realised it was so addictive? And if they looking down on us laughing their heads off at us all for so compulsively ramming it down our throats at every possible opportunity? Just some random thoughts as I contemplate my almost total addiction to chocolate. All chocolate; practically *ANY* chocolate! (Mind you, I'd rather be addicted to chocolate than booze, which was my addiction until I got sense and gave it up nearly thirty years ago!) Anyways, here's a lovely wee chocolate treat that seems to have been around since Noah first began loading the animals into the Ark. ... Read the complete review

Cadburys as we know it today has been banging out delicious chocolate since 1905 (with buttons being introduced some 61 years later) and is a globally recognised brand being sold in 33 countries around the world. Not bad for a company that has its origins in a single shop (opened in 1824) opened by Mr John Cadbury himself!!! Cadburys most simple product-merely chocolate shaped into half inch round buttons- is perhaps one of their more popular. They really showcase exactly whats made cadburys famous in the first place, rich, sweet chocolate brought to the masses. While im aware that some chocolate afficionados will quarrell that cadburys do not ... Read the complete review

Having previously eaten some of Nestles white buttons I felt giving the Cadbury's buttons a fair chance and having a packet of them, sadly my sister stole the first pack so I had to go and buy another one. She's now cleaning the house inside out as part of an apology. Personally I'm a much bigger fan of the plain Cadbury's chocolate than that of Nestle, which always tastes a fair bit poorer, however it must be said that Nestle do produce excellent white chocolate so to me this was the head to head battle. The bag that contain around 33g of sweets contains: 175 Calories 2.5g Protein 18.7g Carbohydrates (all of which are sugars) 9.9g Fat ... Read the complete review

Cadbury's Buttons are a chocolate snack from Cadburys which seem to be firm favourite of my younger nieces and nephews. Buttons come in a Cadbury's Purple coloured heat sealed bag and inside the bag are lots of small circle shapes of chocolate. One side of the chocolate is smooth and the other side is adorned with the Cadbury's logo all over it. Buttons are delicious, smooth, creamy Cadbury's milk chocolate and are instantly recognisable to me. Cheaper brands just do not compare to these delicious chocolates. They are a firm favourite with all ages really, rather than just little ones, as they are simply chocolate and sometimes you ... Read the complete review

Cadburys Buttons are quite clearly a chocolately snack aimed at the younger end of the market, generally toddlers or pre-school children first being introduced to the delights of milk chocolate. Cadburys buttons have had a regular place on the chocolate shelf since 1960 and I always remember as a child scouring the packet to see which nursery rhyme was on my packet! The packaging was re-designed in 1999 and now features different animals such as pig, cow and owl, amongst others. Cadburys buttons are sold in 30g packs as a general rule, though they are also available in mini packs which are great for younger children as they only contain around 10 ... Read the complete review
