Advantages: It's chocolate!!!!
Disadvantages: It's fattening!!!
Ok I have a problem...............My name is Michelle and i'm a chocoholic!
Phew now that i've got that off my chest (and onto my thighs) I'll begin.
CADBURY'S GIANT CHOCOLATE BUTTONS. 145g BAG price 99p from TESCO. Also available in smaller hand bag sizes!
or if you're not a greedy so and so like me you can still get the dainty little normal sized buttons is small packs for about 35p - 40p in most places.
Packaging; --- large purple bag with a delicious looking brown circle of chocolate on the front! and the words Cadburys GIANT Buttons on front too.
Back of packaging tells us the nutrional value (do we really want to know, we'll only feel guilty???
Ok You asked for it so i'll tell you!
Each yummy Giant button contains 15 calories, and 0.9g of fat. (ouch)
or 100g contain a staggering 525 calories(gulp) and 29.9g of fat......Well you did ask :-P
There is no allergy advice on this pack at all, which I find a bit off-putting as i have a son with nut allergy!
(But these are wasted on kids honest) hehe
There is a little joke on back of packaging too, mines reads :-
Why did the Button cross the road?..
....
....
.He wanted to see his flat mate! (ahem)
THE BUTTONS
Ok first of all the packaging opens easily which is always a bonus. Then you're suddenly hit by the wonderful cadbury chocolate aroma .....mmmm creamy and sweet!!!
I select a large brown disc (size of a 10p piece) and pop it whole in my mouth........ahhhh heaven. I leave it on my tongue a few seconds to savour the delightful taste.....mmmm this is what fantasy's are made of :-) Tastes creamy and sweet too!
It soon starts to melt slightly on my tongue and i can't resist rubbing my tongue on roof of mouth to let the flavours come out. All too soon it is gone leaving a very pleasant after taste of chocolate in my mouth. But one is never enough.......So on to another, and another, and another ...........before you know it you've eaten half the pack and feeling rather guilty and sick.
So I sneakily roll the pack up and hide it in the kitchen drawer for my next uninterrupted moment of pleasure(ie when kids are in bed ;-)
So now that I've satisfied my chocolate craving what do i think?
Well overall the buttons are well worth the price at only 99p. They are satisfying and filling but beware eating too many can leave you feeling slightly sick. As i found out last time lol.
FOR ADULTS OR KIDS?
Hmmmmm? I would say definately for adults. The kids can have the normal sized buttons. These are definately for grown ups...that's my excuse to the kids and i'm sticking to it!
The website for cadburys gives you lots of information and fun things to do.
You can find it at www.cadbury.co.uk (This also looks yummy lol and makes you want to lick the screen) please don't try this if you have a LCD screen as it may result in looking stupid :-P
Thank you for reading.....instead of rating it just go buy me a pack of Giant buttons instead lol hehehe
Summary: I don't want a small pack......gimme em Giant please!
