Advantages: Simply delicious chocolate

Disadvantages: hands can get a little grubby

Cadburys as we know it today has been banging out delicious chocolate since 1905 (with buttons being introduced some 61 years later) and is a globally recognised brand being sold in 33 countries around the world. Not bad for a company that has its origins in a single shop (opened in 1824) opened by Mr John Cadbury himself!!!

Cadburys most simple product-merely chocolate shaped into half inch round buttons- is perhaps one of their more popular. They really showcase exactly whats made cadburys famous in the first place, rich, sweet chocolate brought to the masses.

While im aware that some chocolate afficionados will quarrell that cadburys do not make 'real' chocolate and perhaps this is somewhat true (im not about to refer to them as coco flavoured milk solids though). But it doesnt change the fact that what we have here is a tasty, sweet product that is popular with kids and big kids alike.

The packaging is purple with a big button printed on the front. They are sold in bags of 65g and 145g.

You can now get giant buttons as well which come in 40g, 120g and 175g sizes.

Cadbury's claim that every half a pound of chocolate contains a glass and a half of real liquid milk which is a nice thought, at least theres some goodness in there somewhere.

Cadburys buttons are good fun and are amongst my favourite cadburys products. Great chocolate and the recent succesful advertising campaign (featuring a percussion loving primate amongst others) will ensure that cadburys continue to make wonderful products for years to come.

Summary: Cadburys at its best!
