Cadburys caramel was first introduced in 1976. I have eaten many of these since then . Although maybe not my favourite they were my daughters for a long time.

I had a box of heros for Christmas and it includes several small chocolate caramel sweets.
The sweets in the heros box are one small sweet like a segment/chunk of a larger bar.
Cadbury caramel comes in a 50g bar this contains 6 segments pieces of chocolate This bar cost 40p, A 5 pack of small 28g bars cost £1.29p, and a big bar 200G costing £1.08.( these prices are all Tesco prices.) Cadbury crème eggs also come in a caramel variety and there are possibly other sizes out there.

So I unwrap a bar of Cadbury caramel tearing the Cadbury blue wrapper that has a golden caramel river pictured flowing on it. If I am eating a large bar I do not bite straight into it but break of one of the pieces and pop it straight into my mouth. My teeth break the Cadbury chocolate shell and release the runny caramel, its a sweet experience the chocolate and the sweet caramel, its a little rich so I could if persuaded to eat a small bar in one go but only part of the large bar.

This chocolate bar is good if eaten straight from fridge the caramel is a little firmer and chewier.
Personally I prefer a bar of chocolate without the caramel filling but I know my daughter loves the caramel so I shall save the rest of the caramels in the hero box for her.

Sorry to talk about chocolate just as you are all recovering from Christmas overindulgences and promising to go on that diet.
Ooh just remembered I think Cadbury makes chocolate caramel bunnies for easter , guess they will be on the shelf soon .
I have not included dietry info as we all know chocolate contains lots of calories and fat , this one is dairy. if you are on a restricted diet you will check the packaging anyway.

Summary: cadbury chocolate with caramel
