---CADBURYS CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS---
There's no getting away from it, 'Cadburys Eclairs' are gorgeous! There is just something about the combination of ingredients that make them absolutely delicious and a definite favourite in my house.-
The Cadburys brand has been around a while producing the creamiest chocolate ever with the melt in the mouth consistency. I love their chocolate. The first Cadbury shop was opened 1824 so it is a well established and well respected brand. Cadburys first introduced the chocolate éclair in the 1960's after acquiring it from rival confectioner James Pascall. The chocolate éclair is one of Cadburys largest sellers and is a number 1 worldwide seller also.-
---THE PRODUCT---
The Cadburys Chocolate Éclair is packaged in a purple and yellow foil, swirled, patterned bag, with the Eclairs written in large white lettering across the front, and the Cadburys logo to the top. Beneath this there is a neatly arranged pile of the eclairs with one sliced open so that you can see the toffee housing the chocolate centre. It states that the éclairs are a chewy caramel with a Cadbury milk chocolate centre. It has the GDA's (Guideline daily amounts) and nutritional value to the reverse of the packet. The weight is 200g and rough total contents are about 30 sweets.-
The éclairs are lovely; they are oval in shape and are quite hard. The éclairs are individually wrapped in a gold and purple foil wrapper which has the *WARNING* to the front that they may contain peanut, nuts, and wheat. They also contain Soya. They have a rich smell of toffee and when in the mouth they remain hard for quite a while. When you start to chew these, beware! They are extremely chewy and clingy to the teeth and could easily dislodge a filling. But they are, however, delicious. Once broken down a bit by chewing, they become blended in with the Cadburys chocolate filling and the combination of the two flavours is delicious! They have a great flavour but are quite hard work due to their extreme chewiness.-
---INGREDIENTS---
Glucose - Sugar - Syrup - Milk Chocolate - Cocoa Butter - Cocoa Mass - Vegetable Oil - Salt - Flavouring- Sulphates- -E476 - E471.- Calorific value per sweet: 35.
---SUMMARY---
I think 'Cadburys Chocolate Eclairs' are delicious. I like the combination of the toffee and caramel; the consistency of hard and soft. It works well as a taste experience; though do be careful because these sweets can seriously dislodge a filling. They really grip the teeth while you are chewing the caramel down; rich toffee and Cadburys chocolate, a great taste sensation.-
Price: £1.80 for 2 packs deal at Tesco.
