Advantages: Very tasty and low calorie in small quantities
Disadvantages: Addictive
~Chocolate fingers what are they?~
They are chocolate covered biscuits, shaped like fingers (sort of) and apparently they have been around since the 19th century. They come in a 125g packet, and cost about 1.30.
~Is it nice~
They are highly addictive, it is very unlikely you could just have one! If you open them you will probably eat the lot in less than an hour. They have the perfect amount of chocolate on them, making them not too sickly, and the biscuit is flawlessly crunchy, they also have several varieties, my favourite was the honeycomb which you can no longer buy.
~Is it bad for you~
Not in small quantities, there are only 31 calories per finger, however if you decide to eat the entire pack it will likely be in excess of 550 calories. So, if you want one, and I mean ONE, you will need to have a 'spotter' someone who will give you one a day and hide them from you. This will stop you scoffing the lot, however what's to stop your spotter eating them?
So if you have some willpower, they are fine, if not, don't buy them.
~And in conclusion~
Very tasty, highly addictive, and very simple; buy them in for a party, so everyone can share them, buy them in for yourself at your own peril. All will be gone very quickly.
Summary: good party food, bad to have in the house is dieting.
