Advantages: Very sweet, which is surely what your after if your eating a creme egg!

Disadvantages: Too sweet for some, seasonal

Well tis creme egg season once again and personally i've recieved 8 of the glorious things! I did manage to control my excitement and hold out until 1AM easter morning before consuming my first of the 8.

I knew what to expect of course, as to be quite honest, this was not exactly my first creme egg of the easter season, i mean they sell them in the supermarkets in january nowadays, c'est ridicule! A creme egg is sickeningly sweet, no doubt about it, however that is it's appeal. When you eat a creme egg, your looking for that sugar rush, and it delivers in a way few other products can.

The chocolate shell is standard cadburys milk chocolate and i feel it's an adequate thickness as afterall, this egg is all about the fondant! Essentially, the inards of the egg are white and orange-y fondant, extremely sweet and rather thick, yet delicious all the same.

In summary, the cadburys creme egg remains an icon image of easter time in England, and shall remain to hold this position for as long as people enjoy chocolate and well frankly, sugar. And who doesnt lik those ay?

Summary: Chocolate treat for those with a very sweet tooth
