Advantages: Its fun, different and I got a real bargain
Disadvantages: Pricey for individual eggs
The Cadburys Creme egg is a really strange product to review, its chocolate in the shape of an egg, but unlike hollow easter eggs, it has a centre which is sticky and looks like an egg.
Cadbury's crème eggs are small (about the size of a real egg), I bought them recently on a visit to Asda in my local area, i'm not sure if it was an aftermath of Easter, but there were 6 eggs for £1 and that is fantastic value, generally they cost 45p each which I do think is very expensive for something so small.
The egg is normal dairy milk chocolate, the centre is a gooey sugary mix which is coloured white with a yellow centre to look like a real egg, it is possible if you leave it in the fridge to chop the egg up into smaller pieces but I don't have the patience for that I like to eat them almost immediately.
The item is packaged in foil, a red, yellow and blue design which is well known with the brand, the six pack is a small box which looks a bit like an egg box but is bright red, yellow and blue.
There are various ways to eat the egg, personally I bite a piece off the top and slowly suck or eat the centre which is a lovely sickly tasting mess, it can get messy in hot weather and the television adverts to emphasise this point making it fun to smash these messy eggs up.
The design is nice, the taste is lovely in moderation as it is very sickly and definitely shouldn't be given to kids in excess. I'm sure its unhealthy but I really don't care. Overall its an occasional treat that is unlike anything else and is all the better for it.
Summary: Sickly Sweet Chocolate Egg
