Cadbury's Flake

~What is it~
Flake is a folded milk chocolate bar that was first developed in 1920 by Cadburys. The way that the milk chocolate is made, makes the flake crumbly, and it flakes, hence the names. It cost about 50p at Tesco.com and weighs 32g.

~Is it tasty~
When you bite into the flake, the creamy milk chocolate crumbles in your mouth and often all over your shirt. The bits of the flake then melt smoothly on your tongue, it is sweet and crunchy at the same time. It is one of my favourite chocolate bars. It does however have 170 calories in one bar which is pretty steep compared to say a Kit Kat which is 105 for 2 fingers, it isn't too good.

~In conclusion~
The flake is very tasty and I really enjoy it. The classic Cadbury chocolate is only enhanced by the flaky crumbliness of the chocolate. Calories are a little high, but there are worse out there, so as long as you keep it for a treat it should be fine to eat in moderation. It is also a little expensive, compared to some other chocolate bars out there.

I love the twisty yellow wrapper it comes in, even if it is sometimes a bit hard to get into, at least its original. Even better is eating a flake with a soft serve ice cream on a hot day, it's truly the best way to eat it. Personally flake is one of the favourites.

Summary: A personal favourite

yummy flakes I've started to enjoy these recently. I think a stale one on an icecream put me off for years
