I do try to resist the temptation of chocolate but when it is in the house any willpower that I might have seems to jump straight out of the window. At the moment I am eating a lot more chocolate than usual and that might lead to a few more chocolate-based reviews. I prefer to blame pregnancy cravings for my current lack of willpower, and baby number 2 certainly seems to have a preference for chocolate treats, but I am thinking that my constant chocolate munching will have me back on the Weightwatchers wagon in a few months time - watch out for lots of diet-food reviews from March onwards. Anyway, the latest chocolate product to find its way into my stomach is ... Read the complete review

The concept of a Cadbury's Button is pretty simple really. Think of a massive bar of Dairy Milk, melted down and flattened until it's about half a centimetre thick, then cut with a round shaped cutter to produce lots of round disks of chocolate and voila, you have buttons. It's no surprise then, that Giant Buttons are simply larger versions of original buttons which, in my opinion makes them even better! The best thing about these treats is that they are Cadbury's chocolate and the minute that you put one in your mouth you are greeted with the familiar sweet and creamy taste of the chocolate. I always find with original Cadbury's buttons that they ... Read the complete review

It's not just the resealable 175g foil pack of Cadbury's Giant Buttons for £1 deal in Asda at the moment that has wooed me towards these (although I am a sucker for a good bargain!), as I certainly don't need any convincing to buy them! As a serious chocoholic, I would find it hard to pin point my favourite type of chocolate or my favourite chocolate bar on the market - but Giant Buttons are fast moving above and beyond anything else for me. The re-branding of Giant Buttons, along with new lines of Cadburys confectionary, such as chocolate raisins, chocolate peanuts and Clusters, all available in matching foil "pouch" packets have made them seem a ... Giant buttons are just the best things in the world (and who says size does'nt matter). I love Cadbury's chocolate, it is my favourite (beats Galaxy hands down) ahh that creamy not over the top chocolate. Giant buttons are made obviously by Cadburys and are just the plain milk chocolate in a large round button (circle shape for all you nutters that have never tried or seen a Cadbury's button), measuring about 2.5cm circumference. The Giant buttons come in a purple foily shiny sort of bag (Cadbury Colour usually used) 175g pack costing £1.74 from Tesco (prices may varey depending on where brought from, available in supermarkets, newsagents, garages ... I love Cadburys chocolate and diary milk is my all time favourite, Cadburys giant buttons are made from dairy milk so for me making them great to start with. The packet of a packet of giant buttons is the standard Cadburys purple so they stand out on the shelf. The Cadbury logo is at the top of the pack and the words dairy milk GIANT Buttons underneath and under that is a giant button made to look like a planet with a rocket coming from it (I take it this is to get across the size of the buttons). The packet I brought was a 175 gram bag and cost £1.74 for one packet but Tesco has a special offer for 2 bags for £2.50 so just in the name off saving ... Read the complete review
