... seconds. Once heated, you remove the film lid and tip the pot upside down, squeeze it and out pops the pudding, along with a fantastic serving of chocolate sauce! The cake itself is a deep chocolate brown colour, the sauce is thick and has even consistency. It looks very similar to melted chocolate and there is a very generous amount. The pudding was very hot, but didn't look as though it had been over cooked. I would recommend leaving the pudding to stand for about 30 seconds so you dont burn your mouth! Obv...more

Crowned Review Cadbury's Hot Chocolate Pudding: Yes! Yes! Yes! (587 words)

I don't want to give anybody the impression that I'm a suggestible person but, less than 7 hours after reading a review on Dooyoo about a product that I'd never heard of before, I've purchased it, eaten it and here I am writing a review about it! In my defence, I did need to go to the supermarket for a top-up shop. You know the sort - milk, bread....chocolate puddings... I couldn't help it! (The previous review did contain the rather tempting strapline 'better than sex', as well as sporting an attractive picture of a chocolate sponge oozing with chocolate sauce. Yum.) I just happened to loiter past the refrigerated puddings section a moment too long and my son spotted my ...  Read the complete review

It normally costs £1.99 for a twin pack of Cadbury Hot Chocolate Sponge Puddings, but you can get them for only 99p in Tesco at the moment. Bargain! The first time I had one of these it was when they were on offer when they were first released. I thought the full price seemed ridiculous for two tiny little puddings, but then I tried one for the first time and quickly changed my mind. These puddings come in little purple plastic pots with a cover on. To heat them up, just remove the cover from the top of the pot and pop them in the microwave for the time it tells you to on the packet (a minute or two depending on your microwave). Once ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Hot Chocolate Pudding: Oh. My. Gosh. Puple pots of pleasure! (873 words)

Anyone who is a regular reader of my reviews will know that I love all things chocolate, in particular all things with the Cadbury's branding. I was thrilled then, to discover the twin pack of little tubs of 'Cadbury's Hot chocolate pudding' in my local Tesco store, and even more thrilled to discover the bright yellow sticker atop the puddings that indicated to me that they were on special offer and were only going to cost £1, instead of the £1.99 that was detailed on the shelf in Tesco's. With that, I swept the purple pots into my trolley - my mind was well and truly made up! The puddings then remained in my fridge for a couple of days (quite strong ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Hot Chocolate Pudding: Perfection (459 words)

These keep popping up at Tescos on special offer for just £1. I've managed to resist up until last weekend when I finally gave in and bought some. The puddings come in a twin pack, individually wrapped meaning you can easily eat one and keep one. The shelf life was around 3 weeks from when I purchased them meaning that if kept refrigerated, they last well. Each pudding comes in a small plastic pot, the deep cadbury purple in colour. They are then wrapped in a cardboard sleeve with a similar design to the picture above, showing the cadbury logo and a large picture of the product. To heat them, you use the microwave. Depending on the power of ...  Read the complete review
