Advantages: Taste like heaven all the way to the bottom

Disadvantages: Quite expensive and not enough

Well, you can buy Cadburys trifles in packs of three from your local supermarket. I get mine in Sainsburys and they cost £1.48 for the 3 pack.

THE TASTE
Well what can I say. You open the lid and are confronted with a creamy/white coloured layer of cream. It is nicelt whipped into a peaky shape and is thick enough so it will stay that way. This is my absoulte favourite level of the trifle and I could eat a whole pot of just this. It sort of tastes like double cream that has been whipped but is not as cloying in the mouth. Truly divine.

Under this layer is a layer of milk chocolate mousse, which is also heavenly. It is quite a light texture and smooth but not really creamy. Lovely cadbury choclate taste comes through in this.

Under that is a layer of chocolate chip cookie, which isn't like the ones in the packets for your tin. It is kind of a moist biscuit layer which is vaguely chewy when you eat it. This bit is my second favouirite layer. (My mouth is watering now)

Last level at the bottom is a milk chocolate dessert which is very smooth and creamy and chocolately. Heaven in a pot.

It may interest you to know that each pot is 100g so the nutrition part relates to per pot. 285 cals per pot - is this a lot do you think? Well not if you only eat one but I have been known to buy them when I go shopping and eat one when I get home. Then I feel like I want another as they are just so gorgeous so have a second. Looking at the packet in the fridge the whole family know they come in packs of three and if there is only one left they will know I have eaten two so I have to have the third one as well to avoid any awkward questions!!! Now thats a lot of calories to have in half an hour!!

OTHER VARIATIONS
They also produce a "light" version of this which is still fairly tasty but no where near what the full fat one tastes like. They come in 90g pots and have 170 cals per pot. It says they have half the fat of the full fat ones which is good I guess but if you are going for the full on Cadburys taste go all the way and have the full fat yummy scrummy delicious (going to get one now!!) trifles.

DOWNFALL
Kids love them too so you have to fight to get one, unless you only have 1 child and then you may be safe!!

Summary: Can't put them down till the whole 3 pack is gone!!!!!
