We always have Nutella, ALWAYS and I don't think I've ever seen a different brand of chocolate spread in the cupboard at home so I was mega shocked to see that this time my mum had brought Cadburys Milk Chocolate Spread! This one is just a plain chocolate spread with no nutty flavour at all and actually I think it's a proper nice change because Nutella is a bit too rich for me a lot of the time and that's more to do with the nuttiness than the chocolate in it I reckon. When you open the jar you get a big whiff of milk chocolate that smells madly sweet and makes you want to grab a spoon and dig in! It's a very smooth and creamy chocolate spread ... Cadbury's milk chocolate spread is one of those things that gets sneaked into the shopping trolley when I force my children to go supermarket shopping with me. It is not a product that I am keen on but it is enjoyed by my eight year old daughter and my husband. The chocolate spread comes in a glass jar containing 400g, the jar is instantly recognisable as a Cadbury's product as it has the distinctive Cadbury's colours and lettering, and the lid of the jar matches the purple of the label. When you open the jar you are instantly hit by the intense aroma of chocolate, even more intense than opening a Cadbury's chocolate bar. The spread is delightfully smooth, ... I am a big chocolate lover and I have been in heaven since someone invented chocolate spread. It's like a chocolate bar that has been melted and stays melted when it goes cold. Oh wow! I do not rate Cadbury's chocolate generally, as I think it is too full of sugar and not creamy enough. However, I do not think you can beat Cadbury's hot chocolate. So, I decided to give this Cadbury's Milk Chocolate spread a try. It was 50 50 as to whether it would be any good. It is nowhere near as good as their hot chocolate. I would rate it as I would rate their chocolate bars. It's ok when there is nothing else around. Nutella wins the chocolate spread competition ... Read the complete review

Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Spread 400g We tend to choose Nutella every time we want to buy a chocolate spread, don't we? It was created in the 1940s, and I guess around 70 years are more than enough for us to become addicted to it. Then we realize that it is more expensive than the rest; at £1.42 for the 400g jar, we can definitely find something cheaper. We try the shop's own brand like Asda and Sainsbury's which are only 74p for the 400g jar, but we find them a little dry. Let's try something different. Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Spread looks tempting. I bought it with all my groceries from Ocado.com, and I checked Tesco and ... Read the complete review

We like to chop and change a lot round our way, but Cadbury's Chocolate Spread does seem to remain pretty constant a lot of the time. It costs £2.36 for a 600g jar from Tesco, which I think is reasonable for the quality of this item. Sure you can get a jar of decent chocolate spread for a quarter of that price, but then this stuff isn't decent - it's top of the range as far as I'm concerned! This stuff tastes exactly like Cadbury Dairy Milk fans would want a chocolate spread version to taste like. It really is like spreading melted down Dairy Milk onto your toast! The only noticeable difference is the consistency of course, which is naturally different to ... Read the complete review
