... couple of dozen small egg-shaped chocolates with a hard sugary coating coloured to resemble different colours of egg. They are more popular in the buildup to Easter, as you can imagine. I bought a few bags for everyone at work this Easter just gone, and naturally sampled some myself. First off, these eggs are rather small, and hard to take a bite of each time. I tend to pop a whole a whole one in my mouth at a time, but then I do eat my Cadbury's Creme Egg in one go!! The sugary coating is quite hard, but so thin th...more

As the Easter period draws to a close for another year, I thought it would be fitting to write a review on the chocolatey wonder that is the Cadbury's Mini Egg. Or eggs (plural), in my case it's a nice 120g tube. Like Cadbury's creme eggs, the mini eggs make their appearance in shops early in the new year, in the run up to Easter. "Tis the season to be jolly Tra la la la la la la la la la Mini eggs are in my trolley Tra la la la la la la la la la" Yep once the borefest that is Christmas is out of the way the supermarkets can get on with the serious business of Easter which means that for a brief three to four month period I get to eat Cadbury mini eggs. Not sure what it is exactly that I so love about these, all I know is that they are really addictive and once a bag has been opened there is not stopping me. A standard bag is 89p in Tesco at the moment however there are a number of different options such as large family bags or small ...
