... It is claimed tha the yellow eggs have a distinctive flavour, but I am yet to discern it. I think these things are awesome. A family sharing size bag of 200 grams worth of eggs is easily eaten in one sitting - you will keep noticing to your horror that whilst your mouth has about 2 or 3 eggs nestling inside, your hand is already in the bag searching for your stomach's next victim. There are a few ways to combat this - firstly put an egg in your mouth and simply let it melt, the taste is unbelievable as the melting in...more

The only bad thing I can think of about this product is that they are only available in the run up to Easter! As I popped to the garage this evening to pick up some milk for my coffee habit I noticed that they are back in stock, along with other Easter goodies. Normally I would grumble that Christmas has only just gone and why on earth would I be thinking about Easter already... but instead I took advantage of the special offer, 2 bags for £1.60 and hurried home with my chocolate treat. The packaging is very distinctive, a bright yellow background with the famous Cadbury logo in the top corner and a delicious display of colourful eggs to tempt the ...  Read the complete review

As the Easter period draws to a close for another year, I thought it would be fitting to write a review on the chocolatey wonder that is the Cadbury's Mini Egg. Or eggs (plural), in my case it's a nice 120g tube. Like Cadbury's creme eggs, the mini eggs make their appearance in shops early in the new year, in the run up to Easter. Once Easter is over, you can pick up some reduced price bargains, but soon the eggs will disappear off the shelves until next year. ~Packaging~ This will vary, depending on what receptacle of mini eggs you are looking for. Mini Eggs are available in 39g, 120g, 200g, and 943g. I have also seen a 2.5kg box for ...  Read the complete review

"Tis the season to be jolly Tra la la la la la la la la la Mini eggs are in my trolley Tra la la la la la la la la la" Yep once the borefest that is Christmas is out of the way the supermarkets can get on with the serious business of Easter which means that for a brief three to four month period I get to eat Cadbury mini eggs. Not sure what it is exactly that I so love about these, all I know is that they are really addictive and once a bag has been opened there is not stopping me. A standard bag is 89p in Tesco at the moment however there are a number of different options such as large family bags or small ...  Read the complete review

I'm a big fan of these chocolates and it is a shame tha they do not come out all year round as I would probably buy them on a regular basis. The packaging can vary depending on the size of pack, sometimes they are in bags and other times in tubes, currently at my local Tesco you can buy two bags for £1.50 which saves about 15 pence a bag on the individual price. Made from lovely Cadbury milk chocolate that have a creamy centre and a hard shell on the outside which is basically sugar. I do find sometimes that bits of the shell have broken off in the packet. each chocolate is in the shape of a small egg and comes in a number of different colours. I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Mini Eggs: The best eggs in the world (160 words)

Cadburys mini eggs consist of a crisp sugar coated outer shell like on smarties and the middle is filled with cadburys milk chocolate. The sugar coating on these doesnt realy have any taste to it apart from being sweet, it is a powdery coating not a polished coating like on the smarties, The shell is quite thick and takes a while to disolve in your mouth if you are one of the people who like to suck them instead of chewing them. The chocolate in the middle is cadburys milk chocolate which is very sweet tasting and very creamy in texture. Overall the two combined give a very sweet chocolatey treat which tastes great, these are my ...  Read the complete review
