Advantages: Just yummy
Disadvantages: Only here until Easter
"Tis the season to be jolly Tra la la la la la la la la la
Mini eggs are in my trolley Tra la la la la la la la la la"
Yep once the borefest that is Christmas is out of the way the supermarkets can get on with the serious business of Easter which means that for a brief three to four month period I get to eat Cadbury mini eggs.
Not sure what it is exactly that I so love about these, all I know is that they are really addictive and once a bag has been opened there is not stopping me.
A standard bag is 89p in Tesco at the moment however there are a number of different options such as large family bags or small tubes.
Mini eggs are small egg shaped milk chocolate with a crisp outer sugar shell. They come in variety of colours and some even have a speckled effect however the colour has no impact on the flavour. When you bite into one the shell has a nice cracking sound and then immediately you are into the creamy chocolate centre. I love Cadbury chocolate as I find it is not overly sweet to the taste.
Needless to say I will be eating a fair few of these and spending many hours in the gym to make up for the consumption.
Summary: Chocolate mini eggs
