Advantages: Yummy Cadbury chocolate coupled with scrummy sugar coating
Disadvantages: Only available at Easter
The only bad thing I can think of about this product is that they are only available in the run up to Easter!
As I popped to the garage this evening to pick up some milk for my coffee habit I noticed that they are back in stock, along with other Easter goodies. Normally I would grumble that Christmas has only just gone and why on earth would I be thinking about Easter already... but instead I took advantage of the special offer, 2 bags for £1.60 and hurried home with my chocolate treat.
The packaging is very distinctive, a bright yellow background with the famous Cadbury logo in the top corner and a delicious display of colourful eggs to tempt the eyes as well as the belly!
The chocolates themselves look exactly as the name suggests, mini eggs... although I have yet to see a bird lay a bright pink egg! They are delicious Cadbury chocolate encased in a speckled, crispy sugar coating. They come in a variety of colours with no additional flavourings for the different shades.
The chocolate is of the same standard you would expect from Cadbury and these treats certainly don't disappoint any chocolate lover. With 455 calories per 100g these certainly aren't healthy but as we all know, a little bit of what you fancy does you good!
Anyone with food allergies should beware though, while Mini Eggs don't contain nuts, they may still contain traces of nut, soya and egg so steer clear if this affects you.
To everyone else, I advise you to grab some of these, while you still can. Pull up a chair, make a cuppa and enjoy them!
I would give these 10 stars if I could!
Summary: Why are you still here? Buy some now!
