Cadbury's Mini Rolls

Description: Manufacturer: Cadbury's / Chocolate Bar

... Rolls which are BOGOF at the same price! Had I not been deal-blinded and sugar-hungry I probably would have just got the one pack. The mini rolls are just as I remember them - individually foil-wrapped in the gorgeous Cadbury's purple, and fully coated in delicious chocolate. I don't think its regular Dairy-Milk that's used, although the flavour is similar; the coating is a little creamier, probably to make it stick to the roll better and not get smashed in the box. The sponge is soft, light and chocolatey, and the va...more

Premium Review Cadbury's Mini Rolls: Class A Cadbury Chocs (383 words)

Cadburys mini rolls are sweet. And I mean really sweet. On top of being coated in the nation's favorite chocolate (dairy milk) the roll of fluffy cake has swirly crème vanilla running through it. As much as it claims to be vanilla, it looks, feels and tastes more like icing sugar- giving the roll that oh so sweet sensation you'll either love or hate. The individually wrapped rolls are usually in the milk chocolate format, but occasionally you'll see caramel mini rolls. These are essentially the same but with caramel (you guessed it) running through the middle instead of icing/vanilla. I being a bargain hunter only ever go for the milk chocolate variety as they ...  Read the complete review

Cadburys mini rolls are great little cakes that are very tasty and quite filling too. I find them useful to take out for a snack whether I am going to work or simply out with some friends! They also make good breakfasts for those late mornings; mind you they aren't healthy for breakfast whatsoever. Made by Cadburys, they are of excellent quality and taste great. ~~~~~~ The Look ~~~~~~ I buy them in packs of 6. This pack has a sealed packet around them with a bright purple design. The Cadburys logo is to the top left and the 'mini rolls' title is in large bold letters along the front. These letters are still in purple with a white ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Mini Rolls: Cadburys Mini Rolls - Yummy Cake (316 words)

Hmmm, what could be nicer than sponge, cream and chocolate all wrapped together, um, nothing, that is why Cadburys mini rolls are fabulous and a great little naughty treat. I bought two packets of Cadburys mini rolls in Sainsburys the other day as they were two for £2. An excellent bargin I though as in each pack there are 6 individually wrapped rolls. Generally each pack sells for £1.19. If you are not familiar with Cadburys mini rolls they are chocolate flavoured sponge with vanilla flavour filling covered with Milk Chocolate. They look very like the traditional Swiss Roll but are chocolate instead of vanilla sponge. Each roll is approximately 3 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Its not that my parents were mean, but... (381 words)

These used to be my absolute favourite when I was a kid - for the sole reason that my "sweet" treat for packed lunches was a piece of fruit all year round, except for when I was at school on my birthday, when one of these would magically appear! They therefore became far more "special" in my eyes than they really were... Having no need for packed lunch treats these days, I haven't bought these for years. That is, until I saw a "2 for" deal whilst doing my online shopping at Tesco. Over-excited by the little red OFFER banner, I clicked two packs into my trolley. Normally they retail at £1.35 for six at Tesco, and my offer was £2.50 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Mini Rolls: You will end up with rolls if you eat too many (565 words)

Cadbury's Mini Rolls are a favourite (daily) treat of Mr Lools' so these are a constant feature in our snack cupboard as they form part of his packed lunch. Although we have these in the cupboards constantly I very rarely eat these, but did have a nice reminder of how great these cake rolls taste today when I had a sneaky Cadbury's Mini Roll with a cup of tea. ***Packaging*** Cadbury's Mini Rolls come in a long purple plastic wrapper with white detailing. The colours used on the packaging is the same as a bar of Dairy Milk so it is instantly obvious this is a Cadbury's product, even more so that the Cadbury's logo is also visible on the ...  Read the complete review
