Advantages: few

Disadvantages: too many I did not like

I received a box of these a while ago as a gift they are packed in an attractive box and are perfect for a little thank you gift but not for me .

This luxury pack of roses chocolates were introduced by Cadbury in 2004 . I guess they wanted to update and try and get people attracted by a new edition of the roses chocolate.
I noticed a nut warning on the pack so not suitable for those with a nut allergy.

Anyway sit down and enjoy these chocolates with me.
The box is only slim; I open it and disclose 1 layer of chocolates in the box. I search underneath them; no more chocs just the one layer. How many chocolates 1, 2, 3 4, 14 chocolates in total mmmmmmm not many to share, just as well you are not really here with me.

These chocolates do look nice attractively laid out. First I popped a zesty orange cream into my mouth a plain chocolate outer shell enclosing an orange mousse filling the orange is strong the chocolate nice it is a fair sweet quite sweet.

Next a Luscious caramel yes a tasty caramel chewy, I like this one.

I see the next is dark chocolate nougat, dont like nougat so pass it to hubby.

A strawberry Bombe next. A White chocolate covered in pink sugar tempts me The filling a strawberry mousse not too strong a gentle subtle taste sweet. To be honest its ok but I am not keen on white chocolate.

I pass the next a Hazel nut whirl to hubby. I do not like nuts.

Rich chocolate surprise next a tasty choc on the outside a chocolate praline filling then the surprise ****************** A nut Oopps dont like nuts choc is nice though

White choc praline next not for me pass it to hubby.

Praline Truffle sounds ok but its got bits of nut in it not for me ta.

Cappuccino whip a white choc shell conceals a milky white choc mousse centre mildly cappuccino tasting not really keen on it.

Now a Marc de champagne truffle pops into my mouth, this is a white chocolate dome shaped with milk chocolate swirls on it. A bite inside and its a soft mouse type milk chocolate filling. Sweet again.

The next one I leave, Double chocolate hazel in caramel. It is kidney shaped chocolate that covers a caramel with a nut in the centre.

I eat the next one Luxury fudge. A square milk chocolate with 2 white chocolate lines on it. This covered a square of fudge quite tasty a firm fudge a little chewy.

Finally a caramel barrel. As you might guess a barrel shaped dark chocolate sweet. The inside a fairly runny sweet caramel

I just checked the price on boots on line and a box weighing 200g is £4.99p.

That was expensive for a box with several sweets in it that I did not like.
Overall apart from the ones with nut and the white chocolate ones that I knew I would not be keen on it was a box of so-so chocs. Wish I had passed them on to someone else as a present instead of pigging myself. Mary

I like the sound of all of them, but they sound a bit expensive for what you get. Good review. :-)

Great review - sounds like there aren't any kinds that I wouldn't like
I do think the boxes sound a bit expensive though
