These do not seem to be as readily available as they used to, which makes me wonder if others, like me, also tend to pass them up for a more popular chocolate bar. You can buy Timeout's in most shops, supermarkets and petrol stations. They come in a blue wrapper with red writing on the front. Each wrapper holds 2 fingers of chocolate. Each chocolate bar has a milk chocolate coating and inside, is a combination of swirly milk chocolate (similar to a Flake or a T...more

Premium Review Cadbury's Timeout: Timeout.....hmm, maybe not! (422 words)

Cadbury's Timeout Description: Milk Chocolate Covered Wafer Bar with a Milk Chocolate Centre (Two sticks). It has been quite a long time since I had a Cadbury's Timeout (probably around 3 years) and to be honest, they are not something that I would usually buy, simply because there are, in my opinion, better chocolate bars available on the market. Having said that, I saw them in the vending machine at work the other day and decided to give them a go, I paid an outrageous £0.65 but that is because our vending machine is shockingly priced, you would normally pay around £0.50 for this chocolate bar. You can also purchase multi packs ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Put a flake in your break, with cadbury's Time Out! (491 words)

***TIME OUT*** Time Out is made by Cadbury and was launched in 1995. It has the indulgent taste of flake chocolate with the crispiness of wafers and then the whole finger is covered in milk chocolate which offers a great light treat for people who want a quick break during their day. Time Out is available to buy from local shops and supermarkets and is available in twin packs, treat pieces and share packs as well. I am actually writing my review based on the single finger treat sized bars, which are great for lunch-boxes or a great snack for on the go if you are feeling peckish and fancy something sweet and light. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Timeout: Time for some time outs! (427 words)

Most days I work a shift where I can have one hours unpaid lunch so I use this time to come home and have some lunch as it saves me spending a fortune at the works canteen. I usually have lots of snacks in as I never know what kind of food I am going to fancy once I get home so when I saw a packet of 9 x 16g single finger time out bars in my local Poundland for, you've guessed it, £1 I just had to snap up a packet to give me something sweet for after my lunch. A Time Out is made by cadburys and come packaged in a blue & red wrapper which has been unchanged for years now. There are perforations on the ends to make it easier to open and once the wrapper is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Timeouts - try this underrated chocolate bar (358 words)

I recently reviewed the Galaxy Amicelli bars and was disappointed, and as I compared it to other wafer bars, I was reminded of the Cadbury Timeout bar. I have always liked these bars, but they are easily overlooked and unexplainable unmemorable. At £1.26 for 9 individual bars, the multipacks aren't very expensive (14p per single bar). Taste Timeouts outs are made with delicious Cadbury chocolate that is always of a good quality. Each bar consists of two layers of light wafers sandwiching a layer of flake like milk chocolate, and coated in milk chocolate. The bar is light and quite crispy, but still 72% chocolate - not bad for a wafer bar. This may ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Timeout: Have A Break, Have A Timeout (587 words)

I remember having Cadbury's Timeout bars years ago, and although I liked them, I can't say I was ever a huge fan. I picked one up the other day after not having had one for quite a while, and forgot for a second that these are actually wafer. Although Timeout is a popular choice, and somewhat of a classic, I wouldn't say they're up there with Mars or Kit Kat. Over the years, they do seem to have changed somewhat as they're not quite as I remember them to be. That said, they're still tasty and I'll happily buy a multipack next I'm out shopping. Timeout is a product of Cadbury's dating back to 1824, and coming from such a well-known popular company with years of ...  Read the complete review
