Advantages: MMMMMMM

Disadvantages: Soooo bad for you

Cadbury's Twirl has to be one of my favourite (if not THE fave) ever!

The distinctive purple wrapper with yellow writing says it all - 'The Intense Chocolate Hit'.

It is indeed! A Twirl consists of 2 'fingers' which are basically 'folds' of cadbury chocolate encased in even more chocolate. When I first tried one, it reminded me a little of a Flake and I thought this is what a Flake would be like if it wasn't so - flaky.
However since they brought out Flake Dipped I have had to revise my opinion slightly. Twirls are fairly similar looking on the inside, though it is more as though the chocolate has been gently folded over itself whereas a flake is basically sticks of chocolate which are kind of stuck together.

Twirls are so deliciously creamy you have to have some form of drink while eating or you get a feeling of your mouth and throat being slightly clogged.

This isn't necessarily a bad point (as long as you have the aforementioned drink) thogh it may be a little cloying for some.

Right, what else to tell you about Twirls, other than their rich, creamy texture and smooth taste?

For all those weight-watchers among you, I would definitely forget everything I have said so far and NEVER buy this chocolate. One finger alone contains 115 calories, 11.9g of carbohydrates and 6.6g fat. considering each bar only weighs 21.5g this is a massive proportion.

Of course the fact that it is quite heavy on the stomach and fairly rich, means that it does pretty much satisfy the chocolate craving for a while so in the long run may be a better choice than some healthier versions.

If you are looking for a nice treat then this is definitely the choice for you, with prices ranging between 37p & 47p depending on the shop, it feels like you are eating a box of Belgian chocolates for half the price!

Summary: Tasty Treat, but will ruin your diet!

These are my current favourite - I just can't stop eating them! If I'm feeling in a very nice mood I will let my chap have one of the fingers... but mostly I try and keep them all to myself!
