Advantages: lovely texture

Disadvantages: only 2 fingers

I do enjoy these bars. They are one of the more decadent bars of chocolate on the market, with so many swirls of chocolate all wrapping round each other to create a sublime taste sensation.

What is it?

A bar of chocolate, with two fingers, the chocolate is a little flaky, twisted and weaved upon itself.

Packaging:

Smart purple and yellow plastic wrapper, one of the easier bars to open in my experience.

Taste:

I find these a lot more exotic than a lot of the other Cadbury bars. Maybe it is because the chocolate is so deeply layered. The swirls are tightly packed and this makes the taste seem more intense. When you bit into it, little bits crumble slightly, but not as dramatically as a Flake. The rich taste is rewarding and you feel inclined to lick it slowly.

Smell:

Give one a sniff and you will be surprised at the scent it gives off. A luxurious and powerful smell which will tantalise the nose.

Ideas:

Try grating them over ice cream or break then into chunks and dip them into hot tea, this is delicious.

Bad points:

I would like to see a bigger bar on the market. I am thinking a four finger bar or even an eight finger bar, for the person with the bigger appetite.

Overall:

More refined than a Mars Bar, less messy than a Flake and reasonably priced. I think a Twirl costs about 40 pence, depending on where one buys it.

Summary: wonderful
