Advantages: There are two sticks so you get the pleasure twice
Disadvantages: You might have to share your second stick
When the craving for chocolate hits - you should reach for the twirl for immense and immediate satisfation.
The twirl sums up everything chocolate should be. Smooth, creamy, sweet and satisfying. After eating this chocolate bar you can feel those happy hormones being released! Cadbury's twirl sums up everything that is chocolate, bite into one and there is a satisfying snap - you just know it is going to be good. So much better than its not so distant cousin the flake, as that covering of chocolate gives you all that is good about the flake without the one drawback - the mess! Once you have devoured that chocolate finger the best bit is there is still one whole finger to go! So good with a cup of tea!
The nurtitional information for the twirl per finger is :
Energy 475 kilojoules / 115 Calories
Protein 1.5 grams
Carbohydrate 11.9 grams
Fat 6.6 grames
The 2 chocolate fingers are 43 grams in total.
Cadbury is supposedly the worlds largest confectionery manufacturer with a huge array of products sold all over the world. The company first introduced the Twirl in Ireland in the 1970's as a one bar snack like the flake however in the mid 1980's it was converted to the two bar snack it is today.
The best thing about Cadbury is that they have now seen the light and produced a Twirl easter egg.
I will continue to rely on the Twirl for that much needed chocolate fix.
Summary: Mmmmmm Mmmmmm ( i would say something here but my mouth is full of twirl)
