Advantages: Tasty pure chocolate, One of the best chocolate bars currently available, Addictive!
Disadvantages: A bit plain and basic
Nearly everyone loves chocolate, and those who do have a favourite bar of chocolate. For most people, this is usually something like Twix, Kit Kat, or Caramel. Cadbury's chocolate products nearly always rank highly in everyone's favourites, and for me no-one should overlook Cadbury's Twirl.
The Product
Cadbury's Twirl has been around for at least 10 years, and has proved to be popular. On the wrapper, it's described as 'The Intense Chocolate Hit' (the product slogan), and this is very true. Twirl is a chocolate bar that is basically all chocolate - two fingers, consisting of milk chocolate swirls covered in even more milk chocolate. It sounds pretty basic and simple, but it works well as a chocolate bar in it's own right.
Twirl is very tasty - in my opinion, one of the best chocolate bars around. It's pure milk chocolate and nothing else, which makes it both enjoyable and intruiging. If you want just milk chocolate, why not just buy a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk? Well, the chocolate in Twirl is swirled and this gives it an almost unique texture - or at least different to other Cadbury's chocolate products.
Twirl is quite similar to Cadbury's Flake - which is probably the only chocolate bar it is comparible to, especially in appearance and texture - but a Flake covered in even more chocolate. Who could argue with that?
One finger of a Twirl contains:
Energy - 480 KJ/115 Kcal
Protein - 1.8g
Carbohydrate - 12.3g
Fat - 6.6g
Times this by two, and you have the total nutritonal value for the bar. One thing that puts people off chocolate is the fat content, and Twirl is no exception. But it's worth it, as it definitely a nice chocolate bar.
Twirl is available lots of places where chocolate is sold, and costs about 42p. If you haven't tried one, you should, as you're missing out on one of the nicest chocolate bars not just ma
de by Cadbury's, but one of the best chocolate bars around at the moment.
