Advantages: chocolate, texture
Disadvantages: fattening
I thought I?d write a review on a firm favourite of mine. No matter what new chocolate treats hit ourselves I often find myself choosing Cadbury Twirl at my times of chocolate need. I?m not sure how long Twirl?s have been around but they aren?t a new chocolate bar by any means. The packaging has pretty much stayed exactly the same; a purple foil wrapper with Twirl written in yellow lettering. Each finger of twirl contains 115kcal and 6.6g of fat and in each pack there are two fingers. That is unless you buy the single finger twirls that you can buy in multipacks from supermarkets. Twirl is basically a Cadbury Flake covered in a generous layer of chocolate. The reason I love Twirls is that you get all the lovely crumbly texture of a Flake with much less mess because it?s coated in chocolate and also Twirl?s have less of a tendancy to break in the packet leaving lots of bits at the bottom like with Flakes. The flavour is lovely and creamy like all Cadbury?s chocolate but the texture is different to a Dairy milk because the centre is crumbly. If you?re feeling very naughty you could crumble up a twirl and sprinkle it on top of ice cream (not if you?re on a diet though!) Twirl?s can be brought from newsagents and supermarkets and many other places at around 35p each. Sometimes places like Boots have offers on to get 4 for £1 and you can also buy mulitpacks if you want. If you don?t feel like buying a bar and prefer more variety then buy Cadbury?s Miniature Heroes which have mini Twirls in them along with lots of other chocolatey treats. Don?t go overdoing it though as these aren?t the healthiest of foods so probably best kept as a treat (not that anyone will pay the slightest bit of attention to that!) Thanks for reading!
