Cadbury's Wispa

... big chunk off a bar of Wispa and then letting it melt in my mouth. The flavour was divine and it was a velvety, smooth sensation on my tongue. Inside a Wispa, the chocolate is quite 'bubbly,' but not as much as an Aero. Wispas are about the size of a standard chocolate bar, but deeper than a Dairy Milk, so good value for money! Wispas disappeared from shelves for a few years, but were brought back recently to great public demand and public delight. They hit the shelves of shops all over the UK, at the elevated price of...more

I've had so many conversations with people, even made comments on here and when I decided I wanted a chocolate fix today from our butty van, i was amazed when i saw Wispa on there. I have been wondering for years where Wispa disappeared to and now it back. I was that amazed I had to take a picture on my phone and send it to my friend. Calling in the shop this evening, it had a big stand full of them ...yippee.. its back. With a Strapline "Somethings are best left in the 80's..... other aren't " unfortunately Wispa are only back for a limited period and only a limited run have been manufactured. They have come back by public ...  Read the complete review

Introduction After hearing from a recent review on dooyoo that Wispa's had made a shock return to supermarket shelves up and down the country I was overjoyed. well actually now I think about it I wasnt that pleased about the return just happy. I remember Wispa bars from my childhood and then they just suddenly went quiet until there was no noise to whisper. I used to love these bars when I was younger and I always wanted to see the bar return one day. Internet Campaign It was an internet campaign that got Cadbury's to put this chocolate bar back where it belongs, on the market. Four years on from my last bar I recently picked up one ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury's Wispa: Wispa! (308 words)

Wispa bars were last year (2007) brought back by popular demand - in fact it was petitioned for by millions of fans across the country until Cadbury relented and brought it back - they only produced a rumoured 1 million bars to see how quickly they sold and to see if they would bring them back permanently. The bars were originally launched in 1981 and were taken off of the shelves in 2003. When they came back the first box was sold on Ebay for charity a month before the rest went on sale to the public! The first time I saw these back on the shelf I just knew I had to buy lots for me and my girlfriend and so it started!! Before we knew what had hit us our ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review << THEY'RE BACK... oh yes! >> (254 words)

Wispa bars ARE BACK! Oh yes! I went to the shop for my fix of chocolate and discovered that they are now selling Wispa bars again! Wispa bars are bars of aerated chocolate… like an Aero (kinda) but so much more yummy! The outside is smooth milk chocolate, coating a slightly ‘bubbly’ inside. The bubbles are smaller than in an Aero, and just gives the chocolate a bit more texture than you would get in a normal plain chocolate bar. The packaging is dark blue/ purple, with ‘Wispa’ written in red lettering with an outline of gold. There is also the Cadbury logo on the front and the words ‘ aerated milk chocolate bar’ in gold lettering across the ...  Read the complete review

Indeed, the Wispa is BACK. Now for the past few years ive been having a rather serious addiction to Milky Ways, ( so bad my friend bought me a box of 48 that was devoured within a week). However, this has addiction has had to take the backseat for a while, for the Wispa is back in town! I work in a convenience store for my sins, and for beer money, which is normally quite mundane. Beep, beep three ninety two please, thankyou, blah blah blah repeat. However, last Tuesday everything changed. I glimpsed along the sweet aisle a shimmering blue, the blue you would expect to see in the eyes of an angel, a saint, god him/herself. I walked, cautiously towards ...  Read the complete review
