Wispa.....the dreamy chocolate for the new generation of chocolate lovers!! When I heard that wispas had made a come back and did what everyone else did and sneaked off to the shop to see if i could get hold of one!I wasnt very old when these were took off the shelves so the memories of exactly how good it was were hazy, but when that ... Finally after many years the glorious cadburys wispa is back on the shop shelves! A few years back cadburys took their wispa bar of the production line and replaced it with the Cadburys bubbly bar. However, after much demand for it back they decided to re-manufacture it so its now back on our shelves! The wispa is basically cadburys ... Read the complete review

It's only just made a return after an absence from our shelves for the last few years. It's a very simple chocolate bar really. There's only one taste, and one texture, so it can only really be enjoyed for its purity of flavour. The chocolate taste itself is actually emphasised by the bubbly texture of the chocolate (it's full of tiny ... Read the complete review

They're ba-ack! Mmmm, Wispa! A taste of my childhood, growing up in the 80s and early 90s. Wispa is a real no nonsense chocolate bar. No fondant, no nuts, no fruit, no caramel, no nougat, no biscuit, no nothing. Just chocolate. Delicious, melt in the mouth, Cadbury milk chocolate. When I was younger I used to enjoy biting a big chunk off a bar of ... Read the complete review

The Packaging With it's iconic blue and red wrapper, Wispa's are easy to spot in the confectionary aisle. I always find myself chucking one on the conveyor belt when I am at the till paying for my weekly shopping. To be fair I think that is due to the taste of the chocolate, rather than the bright and colourful packaging, but who knows! ... Read the complete review

I am always overjoyed when a chocolatey relic is brought back to life, little chocolate memories rekindled and reawakened. Wispa is one such bar. It was released on a trial run basis in 1981, at this point it was only sold in the North East of England. The rest of the country would have to wait two long years before it's emphatic ... When I was little, there was an advert on TV for Wispa that starred Paul Nichols - he was a blond heartthrob in the eighties, but I always found him a bit creepy (!), and as a point of principle I never ate Wispas. They remained on the shelves till 2003, in their distinctive dark blue packaging, with bright red bubble-writing. I have ... Read the complete review

I used to think wispa's were a thing of the past, a golden memory of childhood, then a very successful internet campaign made them a return addition to our chocolate bar shelves in 2007. Cadbury's wispa is an aerated bar of milk chocolate with a velvety taste far superior to its near competitor the aero bar. Originally ... Read the complete review

It seems to be almost axiomatic in some quarters that internet campaigns never work. The renaissance of the Cadbury Wispa may well have blown that idea out of the water for ever. When the bar was discontinued in 2003 after more than 20 years on the shelves, a nation mourned. Well, I did, at any rate, and I wasn't alone. The replacement, ... Read the complete review

I am actually chomping my way through one of these gorgeous scrummy bars as I type. It helps justify the over the top mid-afternoon consumption of chocolate slightly and helps to ease the guilt. I used to love these chocolate bars when I was young, the velvety texture of the cadbury chocolate was divine and they just provided a fantastic ... Read the complete review

When these were first launched in 1983, I was a teenager and I had a paper round. I remember most mornings buying sweets or chocolate 'on tick' from the owner of the Newsagents, I delivered the papers for. Looking back now, I'm not sure why I'd get up at 6.30am each morning to deliver paper, in all weathers, only to spend it on sweets. But hey I ... Read the complete review

I bought a Cadbury Wispa yesterday, it cost £0.55 from a local news agents. I can't believe how much chocolate bars are these days. The Cadbury Wispa could be called the alternative to a Nestle Aero, or so I thought before I ate it yesterday. The Wispa has a strap line on the packet that reads: the textured milk chocolate ... I didn't like much chocolate when I was little (now like most 20-something women, it is a friend!), but Wispa was a favourite even then. Wispas were first sold nationally in 1983. And then they went away in 2003 for so long and we had to settle for second rate aeros and Dairy Milk Bubbly. So what a joy to see the posters "It's back!". I ... Read the complete review

I was in the shop round the corner picking up my sons monthly issue of the peppa pig magazine when the chocolates caught my eye. Scanning the shelves of chocolatey delights, I decided to get a Cadbury Wispa, a chocolate I haven't eaten for ages. The Wispa is a rectange shaped bar of milk chocolate with chocolatey bubbles inside. ... Read the complete review

I seem to be reading endless reviews about how Wispa, and Wispa Gold bars are back after a long time away from our shelves, following a campaign on various social networking sites to get them back . In all honesty, I myself hadn't particularly noticed their absence, but then, I eat a wide range of chocolate bars and don't have any that ... Read the complete review

When I was a kid, I used to love having the mini Wispa bars as a treat every now and again. If I'm honest, they were probably one of my favourite chocolate bars. At some point however, they stopped producing them and my favourite little treats disappeared, though at the time I was young enough to not really notice all that much! Walking ... The Cadbury wispa is a chocolate bar that was actually discontinued many years ago, I do remember the original however at that time it wasn't something I was really bothered about any way as there was always other chocolate bars that I preferred. I am not one of the Worlds million chocoholics in the sense that I don't have a major need for chocolate on a daily, or very regular basis. My husband on the other hand is a proper chocoholic and therefore has a NEED for chocolate. He is more your 70% fancy stuff. I like Kids chocloate! I hadn't seen Wispa bars for years! I completely love Wispas! I was totally gutted when Cadburys stopped making them to the point where i felt like starting up a petition to bring them back. Why would anyone discontinue a bar of chocolate, i mean its chocolate! I dreamed of them coming back to the shelves until the day they were restocked on the shelf of my local shop. I lunged ...
