Last week I took my 24 year old daughter shopping with me, always a mistake; I end up spending more money and have less to show for it. Admittedly we are both chocoholics and we saw Asda had an offer on Cadbury Selection Biscuits, each box was reduced to £2, so we thought why not. I wish we hadn't. My husband likes biscuits so I thought this selection would go down well. The box is not overly big but contains eight different varieties of biscuit, all coated in lovely Cadbury chocolate. Having nipped into Tesco at the weekend for some milk, a tin of Cadbury Collection biscuits forced itself upon me, accompanied me home and set about making me fatter than ever. I was easily persuaded as the 400g tin had suffered more than one price reduction and was now priced at £2.99. Still expensive, I hear you say, but they are Cadbury's. So what did this final Christmas blow out offer. PACKAGING ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The tin is much bigger than it really needs to be for 400g of biscuits. I was in my favourite food store (well it’s really my most convenient one) I was ambling along between the aisles not in a hurry as I had time to spare before my husband came to collect me. As I perused the biscuit shelves my mind turned to buying some extra chocolate biscuits for Christmas. A packet of Cadbury collection encouraged me to pick them up and put them in my trolley this was a box with that Cadbury blue swirl and a picture of chocolate biscuits in an orange glow beneath the Cadbury logo.
