Advantages: good layer of choclate

Disadvantages: Not good for the waistline

I have always thought that plain rich tea biscuits were very balnd and boring. However as i was walking down the goody aisle at Sainsburys last night i came across Cadburys Rich Tea. In my opinion there is no better chocolate than Cadburys, it is beautiful chocolate, so when i saw these biscuits i though i would give them a go.

At the minute they are on offer at Sainsburys, a 300g pack for 77p.....a bargin, other cadburys biscuits are also included in this offer, and yes i did get a good supply.

The biscuits are half covered in milk chocolate, the layer of chocolate is a good covering, so you can definetly taste the chocolate. I briefly dunked mine in my cup of tea to slightly melt the chocolate, tastes even better.

The nutritional value per biscuit is- 60kcal, carbs 8.6g,and fat 2.3g. If you were watching your weight you couldnt eat these every day, however for an occasional treat these are spot on.

Summary: Perfect biscuit with a brew

I'm sorry for the rating but other than the fact that you can 'taste the chocolate' there is actually very little opinion about these biscuits.

Are these suitable for the Atkins plan?
