Really minty chocolate

Yes chocolate on the bus on the way home from work again. This time a bar of Cadbury Dairy milk mint.
This is a fairly new chocolate bar, the wrapper still says new. The wrapper is a green on the blue/purple traditional Cadbury colour to give you the hint it is mint.
I bought my 41g bar from tesco’s but I have seen it on sale elsewhere.My bar cost me 49p. There is a larger bar also available weighing 200g that costs £1.04p.

Sadly my grandson cannot be treated to these as they are dairy, also I read it contains traces of nut, wheat and Soya; still Adrian isn’t with me anyway so I sit on the bus eating my choc. . There are 6 chunks of this chocolate, when I opened the pack I realised there were lots of small green pieces scattered throughout the bar.

I broke a chunk off I could smell that unmistakable Cadbury chocolate smell with added mint aroma mmm got my taste buds working I then popped it in my mouth and ate it. The chocolate was smooth and creamy that Cadburys dairy milk sweet creaminess and it was textured with the small crispy chips of mint.
The small mint crispy bits stayed in the mouth after the chocolate had melted the texture of the smooth chocolate that melted in your mouth and the small crispy bits went together well.

Taste very minty lovely combination of chocolate taste and mint. I bit another piece and savoured it seeing the envy on the faces of school kids that I share the bus with.
It did not take very long to eat this bar it was delicious, but I must admit by the last chunk I found the mint taste a little overpowering. So a small bar is good but I do not think I could eat a large bar, well maybe I could but it would take a couple of days.

Each 41g bar contains 240kcal. So I will not be eating too many of these. I did enjoy eating it though gave me that boost I needed after a busy day at work..
