A finger of fudge, is it just enough?! I could happily eat a handful of fudge! (Cadbury Fudge)

Advantages: Delicious taste, easy to chew, lovely when chilled, cheap price.

Disadvantages: Not so nice when it's melted, I want more!

When I want a chocolate fix that isn't too expensive or too fattening then a Cadburys fudge is perfect for me with just 115 calories per 20g and costing 12p individually or 66p for 6 x 24.5g bars from Tesco stores or www.tesco.co.uk.

The fudge is packaged in purple & orange wrapping which shows the nutritional information, ingredients & displays the all too familiar Cadburys logo. There are two perforated edges making it very easy to open the wrapper in a hurry to devour my fudge bar.

The fudge bar itself is covered in Cadburys milk chocolate and tastes delicious straight off the shelf or fresh from the fridge but never let it get warm or the fudge & the chocolate will turn a little squidgy and horrible and we don't want that now do we!

The chocolate is very creamy and delicious (as you would expect from Cadburys) and the fudge is quite easy to sink my teeth in too. I am always surprised at how delicious this bar tastes considering it's available for such a cheap price and it always brings back memories of my childhood when we would get our pocket money given to us in small amounts each day rather than once a week and each day I would spend hours in the shop (well, it felt like hours!) deliberating with my friend Abby over what bar we would buy. The price has not changed (unlike the chomp) and it's great to know that you can still find a nice chocolate fix at a very reasonable price.

I noticed this week that the packaging has changed slightly from that of the Dooyoo picture and whilst the colour scheme has remained the same it appears that they've amended the font slightly to give it more of an 'old' look to it and I'm sure this is what the bars must have looked like 10 or 20 years ago (the fudge has been around for over 60 years now!).

I would definitely recommend the fudge 'a finger of fudge is just enough' etc and it's the perfect sized treat for young children without overloading them with sugar.

I am rating the bar 4/5 and think it's definitely worth a buy!
